As I slid into Ethan's car, the familiar scent of cologne mixed with the leather interior instantly made me feel at ease. I could feel his smile reflected in the rearview mirror, and it made my heart flutter.
"how was your day, love" Ethan asked while gently robbing my hands.
"It was good. Just a little bit chaotic" I replied, trying to shake of the lingering tension from my meeting with Vivian.
As we drove through the city, the sun began to set, casting a hue across the skyline. The warm glow filled the car and I found myself relaxing, the worries of the day slowly fading away.

I felt Ethan's expression harden at the mention of Harrison
