The mention notification Goku received instantly drew Lott's full attention.
Who is Mo Cheng?
When Goku clicked on the profile, showing an IP from the Planet Ling Cage, and Lott saw the photo of a skinny guy with a group of people, he finally remembered.
Among the main crew, the Hunter Squad, from the Planet Ling Cage, there was indeed such a person.
But to be honest, Lott didn't have much of an impression of the vast majority of people on the Planet Ling Cage. The only one he remembered vividly was Bai Yuekui.
There was no helping it, as her presence in those 'National Fortune' type stories was just too strong, much like how every comprehensive crossover fanfic inevitably drags out Hiratsuka Shizuka for a cameo.
"They're not asking you to help them fight the Sigou, are they?" Lott said with amusement.
The Planet Ling Cage still held many secrets, ones that even Bai Yuekui's group living on the surface hadn't fully uncovered yet.
Just as Goku was about to answer Lott, the other party suddenly initiated a video call request. After hesitating for a couple of seconds, Goku chose to accept.
"Roar-"
The moment the call connected, Lott and Goku saw a base with a somewhat cyberpunk aesthetic. A team of soldiers in military attire, holding machine guns, were relentlessly firing at a horde of monsters across from them.
This is... the Lighthouse!
Mark, Ran Bing, and other main members of the Hunters team were among them. The former was already clad in mech armor, fighting fiercely against the monsters with a large blade.
"Are those... Monsters?" At first glance, Lott thought the Lighthouse had been invaded by Sigou. But upon closer inspection, he realized that wasn't the case.
Because he spotted a monster that left a deep impression in the original [One Punch Man]-
Dragon-level Monster: Gums.
This guy was average among Dragon-level threats, not particularly strong or weak. But his appearance was very distinctive, resembling a giant ball of fatty flesh with no facial features except for a large mouth.
He even looked quite similar to the strange 'Khezu' Lott fought in [Monster Hunter] in his previous life, which is why he remembered this monster quite well.
Looking more carefully, he then realized these things were all Monsters.
"Heh~ So that's where that guy Psykos drifted off to?" Lott immediately understood what was happening.
Months ago, after Psykos and the others ate the Monster Cells, they gained the ability to breathe in space, just like Cui.
It seemed they had drifted all the way to the Planet Ling Cage.
At that moment, a faint fragrance wafted into Lott's nostrils. Glancing sideways, he found Shiranui Mai had moved closer.
Because of the height difference, Lott had a clear view of her exquisite collarbones and her impressive 'combat power' rivaling Tsunade's.
Just as Shiranui Mai leaned in to see what was happening, and Lott was appreciating the view, the Dragon-level monster Gums, like a meatball tank, slammed directly into Mark's gravity-defying mech 'Dawn', sending it flying, and then swallowed two Hunter Squad's members behind him in one gulp.
"Jace! Enrico!" Mark screamed hoarsely. But he was powerless to stop his two teammates from being devoured like insects by the Dragon-level monster.
"Great Sage Son Goku, I beg you! Please save us!" Mo Cheng, standing at the very back of the team, pleaded with Goku, on the verge of tears.
A few hours earlier, their Hunters team had finished collecting supplies on the surface as usual. They were just preparing to return to their respective rooms to continue browsing the chat and watching the excitement, when Psykos, transformed into a monster, fell from the sky.
She attacked the Lighthouse, offering many Monster Cells and demanding the humans on the Lighthouse consume them, aiming to create a monster society.
Many Dust citizens, long tired of their current lives, gritted their teeth, ate the cells, and turned into monsters. And the first thing these empowered Dust citizens did was target the Upper citizens!
The Upper citizen district was now on the verge of being overrun!
Usually, when they watched the live streams in the group, they always thought monsters were just playthings for Lott, easily dealt with.
But facing them for real, they realized how terrifying these monsters were. Even a Tiger-level monster was something the Lighthouse's weapons and equipment couldn't handle.
Only by piloting the gravity-defying mechs could they barely put up a fight. And even then, it required someone of Captain Mark's caliber to barely hold their own.
As for Demon-level... needless to say, they were completely outclassed!
At this point, Vice-Captain Ran Bing realized that only Goku could save them! The man who was likely the second strongest in the entire universe right now!
And he knew Instant Transmission, so he could come anytime. As for the number one in the universe... hah, Ran Bing would never believe he'd lift a finger to help.
"One interesting event after another lately," Lott chuckled, then took another couple of glances at the 'scenery'.
"Hey~ What are you looking at?" Shiranui Mai noticed Lott's gaze at this point, her face flushing red as she quickly covered her chest and took two steps back.
"You're the one who put it on display, can't I look?" Lott made no attempt to hide it, then turned to Goku: "You're going to save them?"
Goku, with Gohan riding on his shoulders, rubbed his chin, hesitating for a moment before saying, "I was originally planning to go to the Lookout for further training. They say one day of training there equals a year's worth of martial arts. But the enemies on this planet don't seem that strong either. Maybe I should go help out."
"Suit yourself. The people on that planet are all ingrates. If you get criticized by keyboard warriors later, don't expect me to back you up," Lott said indifferently.
The people on the Planet Ling Cage's Lighthouse were divided into Upper and Dust citizens. The Dust citizens, needless to say, had been oppressed since birth, and many were psychologically twisted.
The Upper citizens weren't much better. While that guy Mark might be indecisive in critical moments, he had never done anything to betray the Lighthouse. Didn't he still get blamed by everyone when things went wrong?
"Just lending a hand. And I don't care what others say about me," Goku gave a bright smile, then used Instant Transmission and disappeared with his son.
"He's really kind-hearted, that Son-san," Shiranui Mai sighed.
"Those who play the savior never come to a good end. They do the most work and get the least reward," Lott mused, thinking about how exhausting Goku's life was in the original work.
He felt increasingly that his current lifestyle was the best fit for him. As long as I have no morals, no one can morally blackmail me!
Shiranui Mai secretly rolled her eyes but couldn't help asking curiously, "If a world was about to be destroyed, would you just stand by and watch?"
Lott looked sideways at this woman who was his 'enlightenment teacher' in his previous life, thought for a moment, and said, "That would depend on my mood at the time, and whether they could offer sufficient compensation."
But even as he said that, it was somewhat of a hypothetical question. Because, truth be told, Lott didn't really want for anything particular right now.
After all, he already had the Dragon Balls. Unless it was someone like Bulma, a talent who could provide decisive help, would Lott intervene. Other times, it depended on the situation.
Like the incident on the Planet King of Fighters this time… it was quite entertaining.
On the scene, the various fighters had already begun cleaning up the battlefield or handling the aftermath. Terry, Sakazaki Ryo, and the others were lucky, as Goku had arrived in time before their deaths and given them Senzu Beans, saving their lives.
But weaker fighters like Kensou Sie and Choi Bounge were instantly killed the moment Orochi unleashed her map-clearing attack.
"Gentlemen, could you bring Kyo's remains back to the Kusanagi Family?" Kagura Chizuru walked up to Nikaido Benimaru and Daimon Goro, Kyo Kusanagi's two teammates, and requested.
"Of course, we were planning to do that anyway," Daimon Goro replied, while taking off his white judogi to wrap up Kyo's segments of remains.
"Then... could I trouble you to pass a message to Mr. Saisyu Kusanagi? Please ask him to... produce a new heir as soon as possible," Kagura Chizuru added after hesitating for a few seconds.
