Chapter 53 - Agreement

After Noah finished speaking, Living Saint Celestine nodded and said, "That's right, this is the Emperor's will. The Emperor sent me to bring him here to save you, and then for you to take him to Terra."

Celestine affirmed Noah's words, indicating that it was indeed the Emperor's will.

Noah wanted to see the Emperor?!

This request made all the Imperial personnel present feel their hearts pound.

They had all witnessed Noah's power, but was it truly acceptable for such a person to approach the Emperor?

Even though Noah himself had said that the Emperor saved him and sent a message through the Living Saint.

Even though Living Saint Celestine had once again stated that it was indeed the Emperor's will.

But was the underlying risk truly something they could take?

Everyone knew that for the current Imperium of Man, the Emperor was everything.

Once anything unexpected happened to the Emperor, the entire Imperium would crumble.

This was such a serious matter; who dared to make a direct guarantee, who dared to make a direct decision?

Therefore, the venue fell into a quiet atmosphere, and Guilliman was deep in thought.

Noah also waited patiently, as he now understood what the so-called Emperor meant to the Imperium of Man at this time.

Their hesitation was normal.

Since these people were his fellow humans, Noah's excellent moral standards once again emerged. He had all the patience to wait for these people to make their own choices.

And even if they didn't agree, what then?

At worst, he would just quietly sneak into Terra; with his technological level, it would be a miracle if the Imperium of Man's technology could detect him.

Noah quietly waited for them to make their choice, and after a period of thought, Guilliman reopened his eyes and looked at Noah.

When he looked at Noah, the smile on his face was still there, a genuine smile, because Noah had saved his life.

"Grand Marshal, may I address you as such? They say you are a Grand Marshal, so I will address you as such. Although you saved my life..."

"This is a kindness you have shown me, and I will remember it in my heart, but there is still a question I wish to ask you."

Guilliman spoke very politely, or rather, this was simply his nature; Guilliman was such a person. He kept his gratitude and grievances separate. Noah was indeed kind to him, so he spoke in this manner.

"I think you should know what the Emperor means to us, so this matter must be handled with the utmost caution. I need to know your identity."

For Guilliman, although he knew that everyone else called the person in front of him a Grand Marshal, he didn't know what Grand Marshal truly meant. He wanted to know Noah's true identity.

Since the other party was human, and even a partially ascended human, Noah did not hide anything at this time and spoke directly.

"You want to know my identity?

You know, they all call me Grand Marshal. Grand Marshal is a position, so from that, you can't tell what this identity truly means."

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Noah, and I am a scientist.

That's right, you didn't mishear me. I am a scientist specializing in technology.

I am a scientist from the Terran Federation.

Before this, I had always been exploring the secrets of the galaxy, exploring the entire universe."

"However, a year ago, I arrived at a planet. I don't know how I reached that planet, but in short, it was a very peculiar fate.

I saw the difficult lives of the people on that planet. I confirmed they were human, so I made small changes there."

"I became the governor of that planet, that planet was called Bethel."

"Of course, that world has now been renamed Trajan IV. That planet is now Trajan IV, and the star system is also Trajan IV."

Although Noah explained his origins to Guilliman, he did not tell them that he came from another universe.

The information about the Terran Federation still needed to be kept somewhat confidential.

After all, human nature's inherent flaws were evident here; they were a race very good at infighting, and also a very wary race.

If Noah had directly told the Imperium of Man that he came from another universe...

Then Noah couldn't guarantee that something undesirable wouldn't happen, and in short, it would not be beneficial to his plan.

So he chose to conceal the news of his arrival from another universe, instead attributing everything to an accident.

Noah finished speaking. Upon hearing what Noah said, the Imperial people present were completely shocked.

What had they heard?

There were many things they didn't understand in what was said.

But they did understand one thing: this incredibly powerful being before them was actually a governor of an Imperial world.

Good heavens, when did the governors of Imperial worlds become so monstrous?

"Since you've asked me all this, I might as well tell you how I came under attack."

Seeing that these people were still in shock, Noah decided to explain why he was attacked by the Chaos Gods.

"I don't know if you've noticed something, and that is that the universe is currently flowing with a large amount of Warp energy, like excrement.

This energy is extremely polluting. These energies suddenly appeared before, they almost swept across the entire universe, and attacked the planet I was on.

It was because of this that I set out in my battleship, preparing to explore what exactly had happened."

"As for what happened next, you should already know: I fought with the Chaos Gods, and then, guided by the Emperor, I came here."

"Now I have told you everything I needed to say. Think carefully about whether you want to come with me and take me to Terra."

Noah quickly finished speaking, then once again threw the choice back to Guilliman, letting him ponder it slowly.

Anyway, he had said everything he could, and Noah didn't much care what choice the other party would make.

However, Guilliman did not disappoint Noah. After thinking for more than ten minutes, he made his choice.

"Alright, I will take you to Terra to meet my father, but whether you can see him will still require approval from the Custodes at that time."

Upon hearing this, a smile appeared on Noah's face. This was more like it; it hadn't been in vain that he came to save Guilliman.

This was a decision made by Guilliman himself, so the others naturally had no room to object. Thus, everyone else tacitly agreed to this resolution.
