Ben and Ichigo sprinted across the rooftops, Rukia running just ahead, still weak from losing her powers.
Rukia gasped, looking back. "They've found us…"
Two figures appeared in the distance — Byakuya Kuchiki and Renji Abarai. Their presence alone made the air tremble.
Ichigo gripped his sword. "So these are Soul Reapers too?"
Rukia whispered, "Not just Soul Reapers… they're from the Gotei 13. They came to take me back."
Ben cracked his knuckles. "Back? She's barely alive. Not happening."

Screen 2 – Renji's Challenge
Renji stepped forward, drawing his sword. "Rukia, you broke the law. You know what that means."
Ichigo moved in front of her. "She's not going anywhere."
Renji smirked. "Then you die first."
He released his Shikai — Zabimaru! The segmented blade snapped forward like a whip.
Ben slammed the Omnitrix. "Diamondhead!"
His body turned to shimmering crystal just as Zabimaru struck, sparks flying across his armor.
Ben grinned. "Nice sword trick. My turn."
He fired a volley of diamond shards, forcing Renji to dodge.
Ichigo charged in, his sword clashing with Renji's. Sparks lit the night as steel met steel.

Screen 3 – Byakuya's Power
Byakuya didn't move. Calm. Unreadable.
When Ichigo pushed Renji back, Byakuya finally raised his hand.
"Scatter. Senbonzakura."
A thousand pink petals filled the air — blades disguised as beauty.
Diamondhead's armor cracked and shattered under the storm. Ben dropped to one knee, shielding his face.
Ichigo shouted, "Ben, move!"
Ben rolled aside, crystals reforming on his arm. "What kind of sword is that?!"
Byakuya's voice was calm. "Not one you can block."

Ichigo, bleeding but determined, rushed Byakuya again.
Ben switched aliens — "XLR8!" — and blurred through the petals.
He aimed a strike at Byakuya's flank, but the captain's reflexes were perfect. Senbonzakura slashed from every direction.
Byakuya barely looked at him. "Impressive speed… but no focus."
XLR8 skidded to a halt, panting. "You're seriously built different."
Ichigo yelled, "Ben! Fall back! He's not like the others!"

Renji's whip cracked Ichigo from behind. Ichigo fell, his sword splintering.
Byakuya appeared beside him, blade at his neck.
"Enough," he said coldly. "Rukia, your crime cannot be forgiven."
Ben turned back to human form, shaking. "You call this justice?"
Byakuya glanced at him. "Justice is not for you to decide, outsider."
With a single motion, he cut Ichigo down. Blood hit the pavement.
Ben tried to move, but Byakuya's Reiatsu crushed the air. His knees buckled.
Rukia screamed, "Stop! Please!"
Byakuya sheathed his sword. "He'll live. Barely."
With one flash step, they vanished—taking Rukia with them.

Ben crawled toward Ichigo, gasping. "Ichigo… get up, man…"
Ichigo barely stirred. "She's… gone."
Ben clenched his fists. "Then we're going after her."
The Omnitrix blinked weakly on his wrist.
He glared at the sky where Byakuya vanished. "I don't care who they are. We're bringing her back."

Days later, Ichigo lay recovering at Urahara's shop. Ben sat nearby, frustrated.
Urahara walked in, his hat tilted low. "So, you want to go to the Soul Society?"
Ben looked up. "You know a way?"
Urahara smiled. "I know many ways. But first—you both need training."

Urahara smiled beneath his hat. "Only a little."

Ben grinned. "No promises."
Ichigo tightened his headband and lifted Zangetsu. "Then let's go."
