Renee Morgan gave the address, hung up the phone, and handed the phone back to Ethan Sterling.
But Ethan didn't take it, his voice calm: "Save your number first, and when you get home safely, call me again."
Renee could understand their modus operandi: always see things through. If he escorted her home, he'd make sure to get her there safely.
After entering her number, she thought of something and said, "You can add me on WeChat, my phone number is the same as my WeChat. Once I get back, I'll accept your request and let you know I'm safe."
Ethan nodded, saw she'd saved the number, then took the phone and pocketed it.
By the time Warren drove into District J, it was already past eight in the evening, Linley Lincoln had finished work, Ethan turned off the office lights, and walked out of the building with Renee.
