After the medic finished bandaging Jay Monroe's wound, he took out a bag of blue-red pills and told him to take one, then called others over to help look after him, and went off to check the wounds of several other injured team members.
Renee Morgan and Dane couldn't really do much to help; watching Jay Monroe wrapped up in bandages like a mummy, they both struggled to keep from laughing.
Jay Monroe opened his big eyes, glared at the two, and painfully held his head.
Renee Morgan sighed, about to step over and help, but Dane beat her to it, half-supporting Jay in his arms.
With Renee's thin frame, there's no way she could take care of a guy who's almost six-foot-two.
Dane didn't really want to, but had no choice but to step up.
Because of the injury, Jay Monroe temporarily lost his sense of smell. Maybe it was psychological, but he kept feeling Dane and his ripped muscles were giving off some stench of sweat, so he tried to push him away.
