While Rahu searched his robes, hoping to find even a single weapon, a sudden scratch appeared on his finger.
"Oh? It seems that bitch still had a bit of consciousness. I have to thank her later, hehe." He found a small 12-inch seax knife.
He was surprised. Generally, these short types were usually used to cut down bushes.
"Hmm, and the sharpness is passable. Let's wait. I'm sure those two fools will definitely come to check.
A few minutes later, faint footsteps could be heard. Rahu quickly pretended to fall unconscious with one hand dangling to the left and the other in a robe.
"Haah, Darel, that dog is still lying there, we probably ran like fools," Kael said mockingly.
"Well …just finish him and let's get out of here, this situation kinda gives me creeps, man."
"Haha, you, a 3rd stage body structuring realm cultivator getting creeped out? Alright, let me check his pulse," Laughed Kael, walking towards Rahu.

In an instant, a deep gash appeared on his throat. Without waiting a single moment, Rahu grabbed his throat and yanked out his larynx.

With a thud, his corpse hit the ground.
"WHAT?" Startled, Darel dashed towards Kael
Rahu spun and flung the bloodied larynx straight at Darel's eyes.
"Fuc-" The word died in his throat as a knife drove clean through his skull and came out the other side.
Both bodies dropped to the ground dead. All of this took place in the blink of an eye. Poor men had no chance to even think about the whole ordeal.
"Haah, what a pain in the ass, I have to get away from here before the blood attracts some unwanted attention."

He took a deep breath, and Rahu slowly tried to stand using his right hand; his body was shaking as intense pain shot through his spine.
He gritted his teeth and forced himself up shakily.

Slowly, with wobbly legs, he strode towards the corpses. Bending down, he ran his hands through the clothes of Kael, picking up a silver ring.
His violet eyes gleamed in curiosity and amusement,
"So these are the storage rings? Well, this sure makes things easier," He said while playing with the ring.
"Bahh, I can't access Mana anyway, so no point in these…for now." Tucking the ring in his robe, he then walked towards the Darel similarly there he found another identical ring.
Then, finally, he yanked the seax back from his throat and started walking in a random direction through the forest without even glancing at the corpses as if they were some trash.

After walking about fifteen minutes, Rahu finally found a cave, and with a thud, he finally collapsed on the cold stone. It was past noon in the forest.
"Shit, I barely made it here, and this body huff is so shitty." After a brief round of outbursts. He calmed down,
"System, show me the reward."

"I see, so how do I absorb the dimensional energy?" He asked confusingly. Because even the previous body owner didn't absorb anything, so memory or muscle memory is out.

He closed his eyes and sat in a meditative position, and with a single thought, the surrounding space started to vibrate and morph.
After a few seconds, a silvery white energy began to flow towards him, seemingly out of the void itself. It was a surreal sight.
The silver white energy, aka Dimensional energy, began to gather around his body and started circling around him as if dancing joyfully.
Then, simultaneously, the Dimensional energy was slowly being absorbed into his pores and went straight towards his core, which was just below his chest.
The surrounding space buzzed even more.

Vast amounts of energy flooded his entire being, filling him with a sense of euphoria, he shuddered, his broken body slowly mending itself when the Dimensional energy started filling his core.
The beating marks on his body steadily disappeared, his bones mended, stronger, sturdier than ever.
Then suddenly–BOOM

"Bastard, How DARE YOU!" roared a woman. A ferocious Aura burst from her body, strong enough to flatten an entire city if willed.
In front of her stood five men, and leading them stood a middle-aged man mirroring the aura released by the women.
"Amelia! You slut! How dare you rage when it was you who cheated on me!?" Barked the leading man.
"Cedric.I.ask.you.last.fucking.time, WHERE IS MY RAHU!?" Amelia's eyes went red with rage, and with the snap of her finger, a blood-red sword with strange carvings appeared in her hand.
She swung her sword with a ferocious expression; its speed, so fast that it reached towards them in an instant. It was so powerful that the men behind the elder didn't even have time to react before their upper body was cleanly cleaved from their torsos.
Even the middle-aged man was sparring no better; he clutched his burning stomach and staggered a few steps back. An injury albeit not a life-threatening one.
"Y-you! Slut! You dare attack me?"
"I do dare you, pathetic fool. What? What are you gonna do about it?" Retorted Amelia
Thick Veins snapped in his forehead, he raised his hands, and an intense blue flame burst from his hands. With a leap, he dashed towards Amelia. His cultivation was overwhelming even while injured.
"Haah, Bitch let's see how you run your crass mouth after I break it."
The collision of the two caused huge waves across several miles.
