Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 - Ranck C!

Before leaving my personal warehouse, I stopped to consider something important: my attributes.

I decided to transform all my Reincarnation Points into Potential Points, which would allow me to significantly increase my attributes.

In the exchange, for every 50 Reincarnation Points, I get 1 Potential Point.

Having 22,156 reincarnation points, I quickly did the math: 443 potential points available to distribute at my convenience!

I am still in the Safe Zone, but I could ascend to Rank C without problems, skipping Rank D.

The number of reincarnation points obtained with an SSS Rating is overwhelming!

With a smile, I started allocating the potential points...

Finally, my status looked like this:

———

[ REINCARNATION SPACE ] - [ SAFE ZONE ]

| Nickname: Seth | Reincarnated ID: 78234624 |

| Physical Constitution: 146 | Mental Strength: 141 | Strength: 142 | Agility: 187 |

| Available Potential Points: 0 | Reincarnation Points: 6 |

Skills: Sword Handling (Basic)

Special Abilities: Recall (Supreme)

Classification: C

———

From being a simple Rank E Reincarnated, I had managed to ascend to Rank C, all thanks to a single dungeon in the Safe Zone!

If I revealed the strategy I used in the Minecraft dungeon, any Reincarnated could start their journey in the Reincarnation Space, in the Tower of Trials, as Rank C. It would be the beginning of a new era of powerful Reincarnated.

But, unfortunately for them, I have no intention of sharing it.

While reflecting on my situation, a system message interrupted my thoughts.

[ Warning! Reincarnated Seth has reached Rank C. As he is no longer considered a Novice Reincarnated, entry to the Safe Zone is prohibited. We welcome you to the Tower of Trials. ]

Reading the message, my expression immediately darkened.

If I had known this was going to happen, I would never have increased my attributes!

My plan was to continue with the Terraria dungeon as soon as I finished the Minecraft one, but now that is no longer possible.

What about my ADEE? And my Terraprisma? My Zenith Sword? The Drill Containment Unit?! My damn Dreadnautilus mount!

I can't believe everything I just lost. I feel like a complete idiot.

Now, not even the Quinque I obtained seems so impressive, not when I compare it to everything I just lost.

I decided to leave the Reincarnation Space after receiving the message.

Now that I am forced to climb the Tower of Trials, where death means real death, I need to thoroughly inform myself about Floor 1 in the internet forums.

I don't plan to make a mistake like this ever again...

Or at least, I hope so.

...

When I left the Reincarnation Space, I discovered that only one hour had passed in the real world.

Time passes differently there.

Leaving my room, I found my father, Benjamin, sleeping on the sofa, tired after arriving from work.

Without making a sound, I quickly made myself a sandwich and returned to my room.

I turned on the computer and started looking for information about Floor 1 in the Reincarnation Space forums. It wasn't hard to find what I was looking for.

A user named 'Caramelito69' had published a detailed guide about Floor 1 of the Tower of Trials.

It began with a direct warning:

"Before starting with the Official Guide for Floor 1, let me give you a warning. The Tower of Trials is completely different from the Safe Zone, and it is extremely dangerous and easy to die."

Nothing I didn't already know, but I kept reading.

"The Floor 1 dungeon of the Tower is known as 'The Tomorrow War'. One day, the world is paralyzed when a group of time travelers arrives from the year 2051 with an urgent message: humanity is losing the war against a lethal alien species. The only hope is for soldiers and civilians from the present to travel to the future to join the fight."

"At the start of the dungeon, you are transported to the present. The mission is to kill 10 aliens. But to do that, you first have to enlist as a volunteer to travel to the future!"

"This is where the problem begins! When you are transported to the future, there is an error, and you end up falling from more than 100 meters above the ground."

"If you are reading this, fortunately the solution is easy. Take a parachute with you. Although some say they were lucky and fell into a pool, I wouldn't count on that."

"Once in the future, the rest is up to you. Just eliminate 10 aliens. Less than that, and you will have failed, which means death."

Upon learning that the dungeon was set in 'The Tomorrow War', I frowned.

The mission seemed excessively difficult for Reincarnated who had just left the Safe Zone.

The aliens mentioned in the guide are known as White Spikes.

In a span of just three years, they managed to almost extinguish humanity, forcing the survivors to resort to time travel as a last resort to save themselves.

The White Spikes are quadrupedal creatures that can tear a human being apart with ease.

They are so strong that they could probably ram an armored vehicle and destroy it without any problem.

The only real advantage humanity has over them is intelligence.

The White Spikes act primitively, driven by animal instincts, and attack indiscriminately.

However, the situation changes radically when we talk about the White Spikes Queen.

Unlike the others, the queen has the ability to command her entire species, strategically gather them at a single point, and is also twice as strong as any other creature of her kind.

That is precisely why I insist that the mission is excessively difficult for novice Reincarnated in the Tower of Trials. On Floor 1, most are still Rank E or D.

It reassures me to know that I am a Rank C Reincarnated. At least for now, I have the advantage.

The first floors of the Tower of Trials will be like a simple walk in the park.

At the end of the guide it said:

"You who are reading this, good luck, and welcome to the Tower of Trials!"

The guide was accurate, but it had one important error.

"It is not necessary to travel to the future to complete the mission. There are also aliens in the present."

With a small smile, I turned off the computer and looked at the tattoo on my forearm, now showing a 'C' instead of an 'E'.

I couldn't help but let out a small smile.
