His head throbbed. Faint memories that were not his own but somehow resembled him flashed behind his eyes. Burning halls, cold blades, a boy kneeling beside a corpse.
He grasped for air . His heartbeat raced fast. Body pale.

"Young master,"the maid rushed forward and calmly put him in the bed. Her hands trembled. "I'll fetch the Physician right away!". Before he could answer she ran out.

Le Han- no, Han Zhen now , closed his eyes, trying to calm the storm inside his head . Slowly pieces fell into place. This body belonged to Han Zhen a good for nothing , who can't even gather qi. "The poison seems to work on that good for nothing Zhen", she said,a faint smirk appeared in her face.

Han Zhen forced a weak cough. His chest ached. He let the act be real and coughed some blood. "My appetite is gone. I need strong meat,'' he said. "Bring live animals. Pigs, chickens, rabbit. Keep them in the room."
She blinked a coupled of time before answering "Live animals?''
"Fresh blood helps me heal,'' he lied. He kept his voice low and simple. She hesitated. Then nodded. "As you wish."
She left and returned instantly. Before she left Zhen checked the status window on him and it showed she is in core reforging 3rd layer, that means he had to attack when she was weak.The problem was he couldn't leave the bed, his body was unable to , no energy to do any thing , just moving a little hurt like hell.
The animals filled the room with noise and smell. After putting the animals near his bed she left, thinking that it was his last struggle.
Note: from now on Le Han is changed to Han Zhen his name in other world that would suit it.
Han Zhen laid still. To absorb the life essence he just had to think of absorbing and hover his palm to the target. He carefully hover his hand at the pig without opening the cage. Suddenly a vast life force was being absorbed with every bit of essence being absorbed , he felt a strong sense of energy in his body he was being strong just a little.
