"Kill me. Let's end this. My existence" Ryan said ever so seriously and Zayden had his eyes wide. And then he blurted out, "Are you crazy?!!"
"You make it sound like it's an easy job." Han Seok said with a slight chuckle.
"Kill me, since that's what you want" Ryan said.
"And what do you think would happen to her? You want her to be happy, but she'll only be more miserable. Either you kill her, or she kills you. Or you let her be so we could kill her." He smirked as Ryan's jaws clenched hard. "Don't worry, the nightmares are not harming her. They're only causing fear. We can't do anything to her other than that. You would be the one to harm her"
"What makes you so sure?" Zayden asked
"His pain" he simply said.
"It's well bearable. I won't harm her" Ryan was confident. It has been years he harmed someone during his pain. That happened with Yana and it wasn't that terrible. He won't harm her at all.
"Right" he nodded. "Don't say I didn't warn you"
"Why should I even listen to you? I'm was only here to torture you" Ryan frowned and looked away. He was so damn displeased.
"I'll take my leave then. Maybe you should enlighten her before harming her."
"I won't harm her!!" Ryan roared out as fire caught the place Han Seok stood, but he was already gone. "Damn!!"
"Easy. Don't tell me you believe the nonsense he just spoke. He just inflicting fear as he said.Tch! That pathetic demon. Kang Jimyeong must have promised him something" Zayden tried to remove his mind from thinking those things. Ryan's demon is well behaved but still very stubborn. He would only get a chance...when Ryan falls unconscious.
"Do something about your looks, Ryan. Jeez" he's just so terrified by his own brother. He looked hellish while Zayden is just here looking normal. He very sure even the god of Hades would be terrified.
"I need a bath" Ryan breathed out. He can't go home looking like this. He can never let Aria see him, because he has no plans of telling her what he is. He is scared. Scared she would leave. Scared she would get scared of him. He can't let that happen.
"I can take you to my new house. I recently bought one here" Zayden smiled in excitement, having Ryan going to his home.
"I could use that" Ryan said and then stretched his hand out. Zayden hesitated. He knew he was supposed to hold his hand and teleport them to his home, but he's terrified to hold Ryan's hand. A demon prince like him. He is never scared of anyone's but Ryan when he looks like this. Taking a deep breath, he held Ryan's hand and quickly teleported them to his luxurious apartment. And then pulled his hand away.
"Nice" Ryan just said, amazed by the bright interior. "But my house is still more beautiful than yours" he then walked away while Zayden trailed behind. They stopped at the door to Zayden's bedroom, but he was a few steps away from Ryan.
"You can go in there" he told him, and Ryan quickly opened the door and walked in. He felt so filthy being drenched in blood. He took off his clothes and dumped them in the trash can and then he walked to the bathroom. He turned on the shower and let the cold water rain on him. He needed to calm down, as soon as possible. But he knew it would take a long while. He washed his bloodstained self thoroughly like he wanted to wash away his sins. He was under the shower for an hour before he walked out. He went to Zayden's walk-in closet and took his clothes that looked exactly like the one he wore before. And then he walked out.
"Oh brother, you're here" Zayden said "Come, I ordered a few foods, wanna eat?" Ryan didn't say a word, he just walked to the table and sat down. His claws and fangs were still out, and so was his eyes gold. Zayden have him cup noodles and he took it and began to eat like a starved beast. Zayden could only glance at him from time to time, clearing his throat. He looked less horrifying since his veins weren't bulging out.
When Ryan was done, he finally opened his mouth to speak "Why don't you believe what he said to me?"
"Because he's lying" he simply said.
"How sure are you?"
"It's obvious. Even if you harm her, you can't kill her because..." he didn't complete his words and just filled his mouth food.
"Because what?"
"I'm eating" he said instead and focused on his food. He wouldn't tell him. He should find out on his own. Ryan clenched his jaws hard. He could hear what he was thinking. What is it he should find out? He laid on the couch and closed his eyes to relax, while thinking deep. How should he stop this?

After resting for a few hours, he finally returned to looking normal. He teleported from Zayden's home back to the park where his car was, and he took a ride home. But then stopped by a store when he saw something beautiful. Ari would like it. He can't wait to see her again. To see her smile. He was smiling as he got into his car and rode away, anticipating her twinkling
eyes and dazzling smile.
