Jhin accompanied the girls to the shopping mall. As expected of the two great beauties from the former Toyogasaki Academy, they had only been in the mall for a few short minutes before drawing the fiery gazes of countless men.

Under the shadow of their two exceptionally conspicuous appearances, Megumi Kato was once again ignored by everyone, to the point that Jhin, who was walking with them and seen as a thorn in the side by the men, had a stronger presence than she did.
"What are you three planning to buy?"
"Some daily necessities and small snacks, I suppose."

"Because isn't Miss Eriri a foreigner? I thought, given our relationship that is neither distant nor close, addressing her as Miss Eriri would be most appropriate."
"Actually, it's fine if you just call me Eriri," Eriri felt that Jhin had most likely already guessed her otaku identity, so as a fellow enthusiast, there was no need for such a formal address. "Just consider it my thanks for helping me get rid of that annoying fly."

Kasumigaoka Utaha fell silent. She had almost forgotten that Eriri was also a fan of her novel, 'Love Metronome'. How could Eriri not see the final volume's completely different direction and ending compared to the previous volumes?
"That's right... the story's ending," Kasumigaoka Utaha followed behind Eriri and asked for her thoughts. "What did you think of it?"
"So-so," Eriri paused for a moment, then continued, "Personally, I think it was pretty good."
"To receive praise from the great Eri Kashiwagi is truly a pleasure."

"Weren't you going to buy daily necessities? Why did you come with me to buy paper and pens?"
"I'm an author. Aren't paper and pens the tools of my trade? How are they not daily necessities?"
Knowing she couldn't win a verbal battle against Kasumigaoka Utaha, Eriri let out a displeased "hmph" and prepared to leave after simply buying some commonly used paper and pencils.
"Aren't you buying other tools? The things in your hand alone won't be enough to finish your illustrations, right?"
Kasumigaoka Utaha's words, seemingly a question but actually filled with concern, made Eriri's steps falter for a moment. She then said with some impatience, "The rest are in my luggage. These are just common consumables. As for you, don't accidentally lose your story when you write it on paper."
