"The God,
Father of creation,
All powerful and all knowing,
And his son,
Rebellious and vile and sinful,
He who brought evil into the Garden,
Satan,
Fought god for he hated man,
And lost,
And was banished in hell,
To punish sinners,
As consequence,
and recompense."
That's a lie,
Not a total lie,
But a untrue nonetheless,
I was his son,
His child,
I loved him.
I truly did love him,
Heaven was not infinite resource,
Or imagination lived,
It was presence,
Just presence alone made the land alone paradise.
Hell was his absence before man.
I was condemned not for hating man,
But for disobeying,
For defiance,
Not once,
I have ever hated god,
The thought itself is blasphemous.
If God told me to kneel,
I would, but to him alone.
If God told me to love,
I shall, but for him alone.
If God told me to die,
I will, but of him alone.
When God told me to love,
Man more than more,
I hated the idea,
That they,
Those insects, those worms,
Deserved love as great as his.
I refused.
And for that i fell
And for that they know me as devil.
This was not a tale,
Of defiance and rebellion,
But a plea from a son,
For the father to see the reality
Of his creation.
