Food,
It connects life,
It kills in abundance and in absence,
Children die of hunger,
Elders die of obesity,
Everybody craves it,
It fells both the wise and the mighty,
It is alchemy and magic,
It is science and art,
It is disgusting to one,
And worth murder for another,
It sustains self,
It hollows the self,
Animals kill each other for it,
Man kills it each other for it,
It will be once more valuable than gold,
Yet the irony it,
While it connects man,
It divides him to.
