"That is not something that I am keen to repeat anytime soon,"
Slater's voice carried from where she was seated on the couch, reaching Deacon, who was standing in front of the fridge, two bottles of water in hand.
Closing the fridge door, he made his way to her. After giving her one of the bottles he sat down in the seat across from her(thankfully, she had changed back into regular clothing, seeing her in his gown had done things to him that he did not want to think too much on).
"For once you and I can fully agree on something,"
Popping the cap on his bottle, Deacon took two huge gulps and only then did he put the bottle down, and look over at Slater.
"That was far too much anxiety for me,"
He loved excitement as much as the next man, but he never wanted to be in such a situation ever again. They had barely made it out without being caught. But even though, the sight of his younger brother looking traumatized was enough to make Deacon see the humor in the situation.
