Lycoris Undead: Corpse Flowers
***
"Was that enough to calm you down, Rei?"
Although the lustful heat she could feel rising from her womb and spreading through her entire body had not yet subsided, the pleasure and stimulation Nach had given her—along with the lingering bittersweet taste in her mouth and deep down her throat—kept Rei from going insane.
"Thank you, Sensei..."
Despite feeling satisfied—just barely enough to keep her reason—something else was bothering Rei.
It wasn't the thought of cheating on Hisashi.
The guilt she should have felt in her heart and mind had been overwhelmed by the pent-up lustful desire of her body, and it had been trampled all over again by her intimacy with Nach.
What Rei was concerned about was whether she had also made Nach feel good.
"You also helped calm me down, Rei," Nach said, comprehending Rei's pleading glare.
And as if throwing away everything that had been holding her back—"Once we're back at the Takagi Estate and your boyfriend keeps ignoring you, don't think twice about coming to me, Rei."—she simply nodded, embraced Nach, and asked for a kiss that he gladly gave.
Their intimacy lasted only half an hour, though Nach had originally planned to keep it to just a quarter.
Rei, however, kept asking for more. So despite the threat of Hisashi checking on them, Nach extended their time together as much as he could without making anyone suspicious.
Regardless, being gone for half an hour was already suspicious.
Then suddenly, a cold chill ran through his entire body.
Nach abruptly broke their kiss.
"Sen—"
Before Rei could utter another word, he swiftly covered her mouth and stood perfectly still.
There's someone—no, something dangerous outside.
His survival instinct screamed at him, warning him not to make a move, or most of them would be dead.
It had probably been outside for quite some time, and Nach only noticed its presence when it directed its attention toward them.
The tension continued to rise with every passing second.
Even Rei could now feel the dangerous aura lurking outside.
Until suddenly—CRASH!
GYAHHH!
GAHHH!
The loud crashing sound was followed by terrified screams, breaking the tension while intensifying it at the same time.
Nach and Rei felt the gaze directed at their location disappear.
They slowly and silently walked toward the front window.
It was dim outside, with only the moonlight illuminating the surroundings, but Nach and Rei could clearly see an undead creature even taller than Nach.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it Hasshakusama—the Eight-Foot-Tall Lady. But its giant, blackened, bloodstained naked figure wasn't the only terrifying thing about it.
The tall undead woman broke through the metal shutters of the store on the opposite side of the street. It then came out, dragging an injured man in its right hand and a pretty, attractive woman in its left.
The man was barely clinging to life, with a large open wound in his chest, as he was tossed onto the ground. Yet the tall undead woman let him live for a few minutes, just so he could witness what was about to happen next.
Before Nach or anyone else could decide whether to stay hidden or help, the tall undead woman ripped off its own head and tossed it away like an overused rag.
It then grabbed the head of the woman it had caught, cleanly severed her head with its sharp claws—and to everyone's surprise—used the woman's head as a replacement for its own.
ARGHHH—!
The man could only scream in agony before dying, devoured by an undead wearing the head of his lover—or so Nach assumed their relationship was, surviving together through the chaos of the undead outbreak.
Everyone in their group had the same thought as they continued to hide, listening to the faint sounds of a human being devoured outside.
PLEASE DON'T NOTICE US.

"What the heck was that..." Saya whispered in a trembling voice, still too terrified to speak louder even though the tall undead woman had already left half an hour ago.
Her group had been quick to hide thanks to Kohta spotting the tall undead woman through the scope of his rifle and instantly deciding it was an opponent they shouldn't mess with.
Hiro had also spotted the threat while standing lookout on the balcony, then warned Hisashi to stop making noise inside the room and remain quiet.
As for the students below, they were lucky not to cause a ruckus while the tall undead woman was searching for its next prey.
"Are the undead somehow evolving? Mutating? How could you even kill that thing when it could survive ripping off its own head? Is the city now swarming with those kinds of undead—"
Saya continued to panic and act frightened, which only scared the other students further, so Nach stepped in to console her.
"Didn't I say that we could all just run away together if something bad happened?" he said while patting Saya on the head.
"Once we get the equipment at the hospital, we can study the undead and find out their weakness," Shizuka added, reassuring Saya by imitating Nach while being careful not to mention Saki in front of the other students.
Shizuka's kindness, of course, earned her some patting from Nach as well—though one that was more intimate than consoling.
"Stop flirting in front of me, you perverted adults!"
With Saya regaining her tsundere attitude, and everyone in their group assembled on the ground floor of the convenience store, they began their meeting about what they had found and salvaged, along with how they would proceed with their night stroll.
First were the students on the ground floor. They couldn't salvage anything useful except for some magazines and duct tape, which they used to make makeshift arm guards and knee guards.
However, they found something intriguing—a basement door hidden inside what was supposed to be the manager's office.
As for the mystery of the basement door, what the greatest pri-vert detective Hisashi had found on the second floor explained it all—the diary of a female employee.
Written in the diary were the events that happened during the past week since the beginning of the undead outbreak: the manager had stored all the food supplies in the storage area where his family and employees would hide every night, only coming out in the morning to monitor the surroundings.
The diary, of course, also included records of intimacy between the two employees every morning—how they had run out of condoms yesterday and the female employee had started using a morning-after pill.
Even Nach found it strange that there were no signs of forced entry in the second-floor rooms, even though the metal shutters on the ground floor had been forcibly opened. Nor were there any signs of fighting even though the residents were missing.
So this is where they are, Nach thought while observing the basement door the students had shown him.
Like the students had tried earlier, the door couldn't be opened from the outside.
On the wall near the floor, there seemed to be a vent connected to the basement. Therefore, Nach decided to knock on the metal door with his sledgehammer before speaking through the vent.
"We have cum in peace."—that peace was deep down Rei's throat, obviously.
"Why are you talking like an alien?" Saya muttered, restraining herself from kicking Nach for playing around.
If the EMP blast hadn't caused a blackout, Nach was sure the people inside would have been monitoring them through CCTV cameras and could have responded immediately.
But when no response came after a minute, Nach decided to knock again—this time loud enough as if he were bashing the metal door—then listened to the sounds coming from the basement through the vent.
Roar...
"They're probably all dead down there," Nach said, "and it would be better not to risk opening this door."
Despite the chance of acquiring food supplies, Nach wouldn't risk fighting whatever undead might be trapped in the basement.
After all, it might be the reason the terrifying tall undead woman didn't attack—or rather, avoided—their location.
Getting back on track with how they would proceed with their night stroll, the diary Hisashi found had another crucial piece of information to offer—a safe evacuation route to the city's shelter near Tokonosu Hospital.
"Good job, Hisashi."—You really are the greatest pri-vert detective—Nach said carefully, making sure not to mix it up with his thoughts.
