Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: The Breaking Point

The battle raged on inside the facility, but Su Zhan remained focused. His fire roared to life as he dodged an energy blast aimed at him, quickly retaliating with a concentrated wave of flames. The man in the armor was tough, but Su Zhan knew that if he didn't end this quickly, they'd all be in trouble.

The woman, who had been standing back, suddenly surged forward, her hands crackling with electrical energy. She hurled an arc of lightning at Su Zhan, but he easily sidestepped it, his body moving with practiced precision.

"You're not going to win this," the woman sneered.

Su Zhan's grin widened. "I'm not here to win. I'm here to stop you."

With that, he focused his flames, unleashing a massive burst of fire toward her. She barely had time to react before she was engulfed in the inferno. The sound of her scream was drowned out by the crackling heat as the fire consumed her, leaving nothing but ashes in its wake.

But the battle wasn't over. The man in the suit charged forward, his heavy armor allowing him to absorb the impact of Su Zhan's flames. He was a tank, unmovable, his eyes locked onto Su Zhan as he closed in.

"You think you can stop me?" the man growled.

Su Zhan didn't flinch. With a roar, he summoned all his strength, his fire surging forward in a massive explosion that shattered the man's armor and sent him crashing into the walls of the building.

"Is that all you've got?" Su Zhan taunted.

The man's eyes widened with disbelief as he struggled to get up. "You're insane."

Su Zhan stepped forward, his flames still burning bright. "Maybe. But I'm not the one playing with fire."

As the last of the trio crumpled to the ground, Su Zhan turned to Coulson and Skye. The room was now eerily quiet, save for the hum of the building's failing systems.

"They were just pawns," Coulson muttered. "Whoever's behind this is still out there."

Su Zhan's gaze hardened. "Then we'll find them. And we'll stop them."

As they made their way out of the facility, Su Zhan couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning. The world was full of enemies, and he was going to need more than just his fire to stop them.

But for now, they had won. And that would have to be enough.
