Ophidian was born in the Vordlos family, The family which was known for their holy light element which was known to be the most noble element. Everyone in the Vordlos family married to only those who had the element of light. Thus creating a long chain of Light element. everything was fine until When Ophidian turned 12 and when he went to the church to test see his element, it turned out to be the element of fire and element of darkness. The element of fire was fine but the element of darkness was considered the rarest and completely opposite of the light element, the element of darkness was considered corrupted. His family disowned him right after they found out about the darkness element.
Ophidian walked alone in the forest for 3 days without eating, he was about to faint with rage he shouted "I swear on my life that i will be the next head of vordlos and will get my revenge, I envy you! i envy you all! living a luxurious life while you all abandoned me!" but an elderly couple, Alice serifus and logus serifus asked his name and he replied "Ophidian De Vordlos" they couldnt leave a child in the forest alone so they decided to take him in. He trained his element of fire with their help and mastered it within a year but after 2 years the elderly coupled died, their last wish was for him to be accepted in aerius. He had no choice but to apply for it, the academy officials tested his affinity for elements and found out about his darkness element and fire element, they were hesitant because of the Darkness element but the headmaster cam and said "why are you all afraid of darkness element, if you think that the darkness element is a corrupted element then you are wrong, the element of darkness is the most effective power against the corrupted beings and on top of that he had mastered the element of fire. And we dont even know what type of being will he unseal!"
When he entered the academy the other students came to know about his element and started bullying him, they treated him as a monster and the seniors looked down on him because he was disowned by his family and had the darkness element. There is a misinformation in the world that the element of darkness is a curse that is the weakest element of all, the only thing the darkness element does is teleportation. after 3 months of joining academy the day came when the when the students will choose the holy keys. the students started looking down on Ophidian
