Chapter 116 - Tricked Hela, Visiting Steve

"Let them out?"

Loki asked warily, "Mephisto, is this the purpose of you telling me so much?"

"Yes, I want to make Earth chaotic. Only then will I have a chance to break the deadlock."

Mephisto didn't deny it. He said, "Of course, I won't force you. Everything is up to you, young Loki."

After speaking, Mephisto disappeared cleanly. Loki stood still, his expression fluctuating between clear and overcast. A moment later, he glanced at Thor's Hammer and returned to Asgard.

According to the original plan, Loki would have gone to find Laufey, the King of the Frost Giant, to have him assassinate Odin upon returning to Asgard. But this time, Loki didn't do that. He sat on the golden throne, wanting some peace and quiet.

At the same time, Mephisto arrived at a mysterious sea area. Then, he spoke to the sealed small space, "Death Goddess Hela, I have a way to release you, but you must act for me once."

The sea area was very quiet. A moment later, a very subtle mental fluctuation emanated from the small space: "Aren't you afraid of offending Odin?"

It's worth mentioning that Mephisto concealed himself with magic, so even Heimdall couldn't see him.

"Odin is no longer capable. No one fears Asgard now."

Mephisto chuckled, "Hela, do you agree or not?"

"You should be afraid."

Hela's mental fluctuations became more intense: "Old demon, I accept your deal. Release me, and I will restore Asgard's prestige, making the entire universe bow before Asgard's might."

"I look forward to that day."

Mephisto smiled and signed a contract with Hela—the contract stipulated that Mephisto must help Hela escape the seal within ten years, otherwise, the contract would become invalid.

Next, Mephisto went to the Great Serpent's seal and said the same thing to it.

To gain freedom, the Great Serpent, like Hela, chose to sign a contract.

"Done. No matter which one is released, I've profited."

Mephisto nodded with satisfaction. Being able to gain the help of one, or even two, Father Gods just by saying a few words, this was a huge profit.

"Helpers are secondary. If Hela and Odin fight on Earth…"

A glint flashed in Mephisto's eyes. He thought proudly, "To be a Demon King, the most important thing is to know how to use your brain. Those Demon Kings who only know how to fight will never understand how formidable I am."

On the other side, the astronomer Dr. Selvig, in order to rescue Thor, created a fake identity for him. Although Coulson knew the identity was fake, he thought about it and still released Thor.

On one hand, the other party might be a prince of Asgard, so keeping him locked up wasn't good. On the other hand, Coulson wanted to obtain information about Thor through Jane and Dr. Selvig—he planned to send people to install wiretaps at Jane's residence.

Leaving that aside for now, the next morning, Andrew sat in a chair scrolling through QuickShake. Susan, while preparing breakfast, asked, "Andrew, do you think what happened in the dream is real?"

Andrew casually said, "Some of it is real, some are just simple dreams. Did you have a dream last night?"

"Mmm, I dreamed about our future son, and he said he wanted to be born as soon as possible."

Susan nodded, saying with a bit of shyness. Andrew was startled, then rolled his eyes. That little brat had changed his tactics to pillow talk.

Andrew chuckled, "Having a child? Are you proposing to me?"

"Who's proposing to you?"

Susan gave Andrew a glare. She said with some worry, "You are an angel, can we have offspring?"

"Yes, angels, demons, and humans have no reproductive isolation."

Andrew nodded. He said, "However, I don't plan on having children. Let's enjoy ourselves for a few thousand years first."

Susan placed the bread on the table and said discontentedly, "A few thousand years? I won't even have bones left, will I?"

"Don't worry, you have my energy in your body. As long as you keep replenishing it, living for tens of thousands of years won't be a problem."

Andrew said, "Besides that, you can also stay eternally young, and your body will get better and better."

"Really?"

Susan's eyes lit up, instantly forgetting about having children. What woman doesn't want eternal youth?

"Of course, it's true."

Andrew was speaking when he suddenly sensed something. He turned to look at the doorway, his expression a bit surprised. Then, he said to Susan, "Susan, open the door, there's a surprise."

"Really? I always feel like you're just finding excuses to boss me around."

Susan looked suspicious but still walked over to open the door. A moment later, she asked in surprise, "Jonathan, why are you here? Oh, why have you become so strong? Has your Ability evolved again?"

Captain America took off his hat and said with a smile, "Madam, I think you've mistaken me for someone else. I am Steve Rogers, and I'm here specifically to see Mr. Andrew Wang."

Susan was stunned for a moment, then shouted in shock, "Steve Rogers? Captain America?"

Like other Americans, Susan grew up watching Captain America's films—promotional films, educational films. While she didn't exactly worship him, she was inevitably a bit excited to suddenly meet him in person.

"It's me."

Steve nodded. Andrew stood up and chuckled, "You and Jonathan are truly cut from the same mold. Captain America, are you sure you didn't leave behind an illegitimate child?"

Steve spread his hands and said, "I don't think so. Even if I did, they'd be at least sixty years old by now."

"Andrew, don't talk nonsense. Jonathan is my younger brother."

Susan gave Andrew a glare and said warmly to Steve, "Captain America, please come in. He is the Andrew Wang you're looking for."

"Just call me Steve."

Once Steve entered the house, Andrew invited him to sit down and asked directly, "Steve, what can I do for you?"

Steve didn't hide anything. He said, "S.H.I.E.L.D. wants to ask you for some information, but they said you have a misunderstanding about them, so they sent me."

Andrew scoffed, "There's no misunderstanding, Steve. Don't trust S.H.I.E.L.D.. They're not good people, especially that one-eyed man; there's not a single truth in his mouth."

"Their methods of operation are indeed a bit poor."

Steve recalled the deception when he woke up and couldn't help but shake his head. Then, he took out a phone from his pocket and said, "S.H.I.E.L.D. wants to know about Asgard. There's some data on this phone. They suspect Odin's son has descended to Earth.

Uh, I'm sorry, I'm not very good at using phones. I'll have to trouble you to open it yourself."

At this point, Steve couldn't help but sigh. Although S.H.I.E.L.D. agents had been teaching him, there were still many things he didn't know how to use. To be honest, he felt out of place in this era and couldn't find a sense of belonging at all.

"Information about Asgard?"

Andrew took the phone and checked the information inside. A moment later, he said, "This blonde strong man is indeed Thor, and that hammer is Thor's Hammer Mjolnir. Only those who are worthy can lift it."
