Chapter 110 - Despicable Fury, Best Employee of Hell

Pierce was happy to see this. Of the money allocated to S.H.I.E.L.D., HYDRA could take at least 30%. Back then, one of the main reasons he chose Nick Fury as Director was his ability to secure funding.

After the meeting, Nick Fury called out to Pierce, who was about to leave, and said, "Pierce, New York has experienced a series of major disasters. I want to establish a special command center in New York to handle all matters concerning New York."

Pierce immediately saw through Nick Fury's intentions. He asked, "You want to set up a special department to be a scapegoat?"

Nick Fury said earnestly, "No, I want to better manage the disasters. I can't always command from a distance."

Pierce said, "Alright then, let Coulson be this special Commander."

"Coulson can't, he has other missions."

Nick Fury quickly said. Coulson was his designated successor as Director, how could he be made a scapegoat so easily?

"Still saying it's not for a scapegoat?"

Pierce retorted. He said, "I agree in principle, but the candidate for this Commander must agree to it himself."

"Good."

Nick Fury nodded. With a special command center, he wouldn't be cursed at every time, because someone would take the blame for him.

"Who should I choose?"

Nick Fury pondered. Just then, good news came from below: "We found Commander Garrett's escape pod by the sea. He's not dead, he survived."

"That's great! Get him to treatment quickly."

Nick Fury was overjoyed. Garrett was his close comrade-in-arms; they had fought side-by-side many times. More importantly, someone would now take the blame for the Isolated Island Prison incident.

Garrett, who had been rescued, lay on a stretcher, looking utterly dejected. Why had it succeeded? Wasn't it supposed to be very difficult?

Leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. aside for now, Magneto and Mystique appeared in the main hall of Rebirth Hell. Both were a little disoriented, not knowing where they were or why they had appeared there.

At this moment, a four-meter-tall robot spoke to them: "Welcome, both of you, to Rebirth Hell. You don't need to worry. You both just won the title of 'Best Employee of Hell' two days ago, and Hell will not mistreat you."

"Hell?"

Magneto and Mystique were stunned, then recalled what had happened before, and immediately gave a bitter smile. So, they were already dead.

Speaking of which, what the hell is 'Best Employee of Hell'?

Magneto sighed, "I signed a contract with the Devil King, so going to Hell is normal. I didn't expect you, Raven, to come down with me too."

Mystique spread her hands: "Unfortunately, I signed one too."

"Don't worry, our Rebirth Hell is excellent in all aspects. You will definitely come to love it here."

Trask smiled, "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Bolivar Trask, a Scientist of Rebirth Hell."

"Bolivar Trask? That name sounds familiar... Trask!"

Mystique was first stunned, then remembered Trask's identity, her expression changed drastically, and she quickly pulled Magneto back.

"That's right, I am Trask, whom you shot at the meeting. The task of entertaining you was specially requested by me from the Devil King."

Trask showed his posthumous photo, smiling, while Magneto and Mystique's expressions were very ugly. Meeting an enemy as soon as they entered Hell—this was troublesome.

Magneto tried, but found he couldn't control metal, and his expression grew even uglier—he was currently in a soul state, without his abilities.

"Alright, Trask, don't scare them."

Andrew walked out and said, "You're all colleagues now. Old Magneto, Mystique, long time no see."

"It's you!"

Magneto and Mystique exclaimed in unison. Andrew walked onto the throne and said, "Yes, it's me, the Great Devil King of Rebirth Hell."

Magneto looked speechless. Is it really okay for you, a dignified Great Devil King, to go to the human world and bully us common folk?

Andrew said, "It's pretty good. Bullying noobs is popular now."

Magneto's expression changed. Can the Devil King read minds? Andrew said, "Yes, I can read minds."

"..."

Magneto looked dumbfounded. Andrew smiled, "Just kidding. Although I can read minds, I generally don't use it. It's too noisy."

Magneto and Mystique didn't know what expression to make. This Devil King's personality was truly awful.

"Alright, no more nonsense."

Andrew said, "First, you two will follow Trask on a tour of Rebirth Hell. Once you're done, I have something to tell you. Trask, don't dwell too much on the minor issues from your previous life. From now on, we are family."

"You call that a minor issue?"

Trask grumbled. He said, "BOSS, don't worry, I have no personal vendetta against Mutant. I just don't want Mutant to replace humans."

Magneto snorted, "Mutant are more advanced than humans; it's only a matter of time before they replace humans."

"You two can go outside and argue slowly."

Andrew waved his hand, sending the three out of the main hall. He had no interest in Trask's and Magneto's ideologies, as long as they obediently served him.

Then, the Devil King snapped his fingers, and the Loom of Fate appeared before him. He pointed a finger, and the Loom vanished into thin air.

In a hidden warehouse in Manhattan, Fire Fox and the others had fled here. They kept looking towards the entrance, seemingly waiting for someone.

At this moment, the Loom of Fate appeared out of thin air. Everyone was stunned. Fire Fox immediately went forward to examine it. A moment later, she excitedly said, "It's real."

"That's great!"

Everyone was overjoyed. Butcher asked with some suspicion, "Isn't this a bit too strange?"

"Whether it's strange or not isn't important."

Fire Fox said, "What's important is that the Loom is back, and we can continue our mission. This time, I'm going to be the leader. I will never allow what happened with Sloan to happen again."

The assassins looked at each other and nodded. They knew Fire Fox's devotion to the Loom; she would never betray it like Sloan did.

Fire Fox said, "Now, let's think about how to transport the Loom out of Manhattan?"

Looking at the enormous Loom, everyone was dumbfounded. This was a huge challenge.

"Go and fulfill your mission."

Andrew silently watched all of this. During this time, he had been studying the Loom of Fate and had made a small breakthrough.

Andrew discovered that to fully understand the mysteries of the Loom of Fate, it needed to be in operation. Therefore, he returned the Loom to Fire Fox and the others, allowing them to continue their mission.

An hour later, Magneto and Mystique returned to the main hall. Magneto sighed, "Lord Devil King, Hell is completely different from what I imagined. To be honest, I don't think this is Hell; it's a mechanical world."

Mystique nodded. Living in such a Hell wasn't entirely unacceptable, provided that scoundrel Trask wasn't around. What kind of person is he, still wanting to exterminate Mutant every day even after dying?

Earlier, Trask had even deliberately shown off the Magneto Device, almost infuriating Magneto to death.
