(Five years later…)
Today was supposed to be the day teams were assigned to all genin who had graduated the academy and everyone was looking forward to it, that is until a short blonde haired kid walked into the classroom and started dancing everywhere he could and throwing a celebration that he had successfully passed the academy after so long.
well everyone understood that feeling including me, however Sakura on the other hand was a different case, she absolutely refused to believe despite seeing the headband on his head as they engaged in a tussle and soon enough she ran towards Sasuke and began what I call flaunting all over him.
Which was highly uncomfortable by the way because I was sitting next to Sasuke.
Naruto immediately approached me to move over on the three person seat as Sasuke immediately glared daggers at him, however I wasn't having none of this as I promptly stood up and went to the back seat which just happened to be a person short.
Sasuke watched me get up and stared at me angrily however I only smiled as his anger then transferred onto Naruto but said nothing as Naruto glared back at him, they looked like they were about to engage in a tussle which I didn't care about as long as they don't rub lips, I would puke then.
Well to sum things up, we were friends, the cold-hearted power hungry sasuke uchiha was my friend, this was annoying but that would need a recap summary of the whole five years timeline to begin with to understand what happened which I will say right after I can determine how the teams are going to be shared as that is my main problem at the moment because as much as I couldn't wait any longer, I pondered on what team I was going to be put in.
And finally my wish came through as Iruka sensei stepped into the class room and announced the team up allocation for the 28 of us in a 3 man cell.
Yup, the calculation didn't match up and I had a feeling I knew why.
And as expected there was no change to the team up arrangement, but more importantly I had not heard my name when he finally spoke…
"Oh and lastly Daimon Uchiha, there is no team left for you to be assigned to so you'll be set up as a reserved genin, and don't worry about not being accepted, the hokage approves of this as a special mentor, until then class dismissed" iruka said
Special mentor my ass, they simply cannot leave an uchiha wandering about and instead choose for him to be monitored regardless…
Sasuke did not hesitate to walk up to me brushing past Naruto just to ask why I bailed on the seat next to him.
My reply was simply because he seemed like he needed it.
