Ever since the The 5 calamity's and the mad god shadovis, the world has transformed drastically, monsters infested the world, some being so dangerous none approach its might.
Moon's pov
"The sun's fricking killing me..." I say as i sweat harder from the heat, walking on the boiling stone ground "ugh, why do i ALWAYS get assigned to such useless missions!"
I walk towards the doungen I've been tasked to explore by my commander, i was too scared of her to decline, of course.
"Well theres no point in crying over spilled milk, time to get going!" I ready my Basic not so sturdy sword and put on my cloak " as if someone will watch me, they'll probably be bored to death" i say to myself
I then see a group of 16 goblins "my cheap sword really isn't gonna like this..." I dash forward stabbing one of the goblins and take its dagger "even goblins got better gear than me...how pathetic" i throw the already cracked sword and grip my, or well stolen.. dagger tight. "Focus! Hold your head up high moon you can do this!" I evade one of the goblins attacks and try to counter but it gets blocked "quite the reflex for a Greeny." I dash backwards to get some space and asses my surroundings, afterall im not playing with sticks... Even with goblins with my weak power this is dangerous "think... think! How the hell do i kill 16 of them no less!" I then spot the so convinetly placed packs of dynamite "good thing i still have some luck..." I grab the dynamite and throw it in the middle of them, KABOOM, 7 die... "Still isn't enough... I can take care of the rest."
I then lunge forward, thrusting the dagger in a goblins neck and follow up with a strike on another goblin. "Ten down..." I hesitate before i make a decision wether to continue or take breather and end up getting slashed "fuck....Nows not the time to be scared!" i grip my bleeding shoulder as i grit my teeth in pain
"No matter, i will win!" I say as my stupid cloak ends up being grabbed by those dirty goblins "i knew wearing it was a bad idea... Damn you commander irida!"
In a fit of anger i lash out on two goblins with my dagger thats barely holding on "die already!" I drive the dagger in ones heart, before pulling it out and throw the dagger straight at the goblin grabbing my cloaks crainum "four left, but i leveld up... Thats nice i guess" with the power boost i dash forward, my speed enhanced and maul the other goblins . "Oh, i shouldn't have... Now my knuckles are gonna barely fucking function!" I say in annoyed tone, gripping my bleeding shoulder and heading back to camp.
After arriving to the camp, i immediately yell out for a medic or healer.. whatever these youngin adventurers call it nowadays... Yes I'm being hypocritical i am 16... "HEALER! MY SHOULDER IS BLEEDING!" petty to yell out, but its a good trick to use if you want shit done quick.
A healer finally arrives, wearing that infuriatingly bright green and white coat "your wounds are fine, your shoulder seems to have lost lots of blood, i recommend resting and not to partake in missions no matter what." He says grimly... My mind briefly flashes to commander irida yelling at me for not being able to kill a wolf "ugh, okay yeah.. just do whatever needs to be done with my shoulder" i say grimly, clearly frustrated... Or scared, who knows?
I then suddenly black out and wake up in a void like place, complete pitch darkness.. and a being veiled in shadows emerges "come forth, my child." He says, his tone laced will authority and power... And i can't even sense its magic power, probably because im dreaming right! Right?
I walk towards the veiled figure "greetings.. shadow man guy...or girl" i say awkwardly... Its hard to tell when someone looks like the underside of a pan that's been used for half a decade. "My child, i have prepared a destiny for you, i have chosen you as the one who will end this worlds calamity, and save the human race from the five calamity's." The figure says while it turns its back, it then follows up "that is why ive bestowed upon you my power to level up infinitely, you shall become strong.. and quick, i have mutliped your experience gain for three years, i will see you once you reach level one hundred thousand." The figure then vanishes
"WAIT!" I yell out, but i only end up on the bed of the infirmary... "What is this supposed to mean! Why me out of everyone ugh."
