**Sallie's POV**
I later learned what had transpired during my absence. Nobody had anticipated Webster would bring me up at such an unexpected moment; the entire group had gazed at him with shock written across their faces.
Nobody had caught the brief stiffening of Jill's expression.
She had wondered, 'Why would this fool mention Sallie right now? Shouldn't his complete focus be on me?'
When silence had greeted his words, Webster had pressed on, "The same amount, identical demand for a brief period, but Sallie appeared far more vulnerable than Jill seemed..."
He had drawn logical parallels between Jill's current kidnapping and my earlier experience, reaching the conclusion, "Perhaps we truly got Sallie wrong; maybe she didn't orchestrate her own abduction before." Webster had finished speaking and gazed at them with expectant eyes.
The Noah family members, however, had shared meaningful looks and spotted fury reflected in each other's expressions.
