His father didn't respond to them but he waved, even if protocol said to ignore the greeting and pass by. Saburo could never bring himself to ignore a child just because he was a royal.
It wasn't long before they reached the royal carriages, the entourage quickly merged with the existing but Hayato remained by his side.
"Saburo, I have honored your wish, I hope you don't disappoint me" the Daimyo suddenly said as they reached the carriages
"A Kisiragi never disappoints" Saburo replied with a smile before bowing
It was a saying that his father always used, something he had heard for the last two years ever since he moved into the main palace.
"Good" The man replied before entering the carriage as he and his entourage left.
The only people left were the Hokage, Lady Reika and her brother Masanori, and the elders of Konoha, beside them were Hayato and his retainers.
"Thank you all for welcoming my father and I but if possible, may I know where I would be staying while I attend the academy" Saburo said as he turned to he hokage
Well to be more accurate, he turned to the two Elders, Lady Reika and Masanori, according to his father, they were his Uncle and Aunt meaning that by default they were the ones in charge of his safety and accommodation in this village
As expected, all the other elders turned to the two as soon as he asked his question. It was clear that they truly represented the Daimyo's interests in Konoha.
"Of course Miya-sama must be tired, forgive our tardiness, we'll take you to your new home at once" Lady Reika replied, her stoic expression evolving into a large smile
"Thank you, Reika-Sama" Saburo replied
"Miya-sama, it may be late but on behalf of Konoha, I would like to welcome you to Konoha" Sandiame-Sama said as he offered a slight bow and a wide smile
"Thank you" Saburo replied
"Okay follow me" Lady Reika said as she started walking to a carriage in the distance
Looking around now, Saburo realized something, Carriages weren't really a common thing in Konoha… Well personal carriages beyond merchant ones weren't common which proved their authority.
As they got into the carriage, Saburo got a last glimpse at the academy which would be his new school for the next four years.
Thinking about it now, the Hokage's Office was located within the academy building itself.
It wasn't the most efficient design but in terms of safety, it was a massively effective one. The Hokage's Office had to be one of the more protected places in Konoha if he followed standard logic.
Considering that both academy and office were one and the same, this also meant better protection for the children while they attend school.
Within the carriage was quiet but it was to be expected, they may be his father's cousins but this was his first time meeting them. They were always here in Konoha ensuring that his father's interests were met as the Daimyo's representatives in Konoha.
