For Najasho and the rest, it only confirmed one thing: choosing to follow Alex to Orario had been absolutely the right call.
Here, they would grow stronger than they ever could have back home.
"In this city, all kinds of races live together," Alex explained as he walked ahead without looking back. "They each belong to different familias. Once you join one, you'll receive a blessing from your god. It'll be a huge help for your future development."
Akame spoke softly behind him. "Then… are you part of a familia too, Alex?"
"Of course. I'm the captain of the Hestia Familia. From now on, you'll all be members as well. You'll be free to move around Orario as you please."
He had barely finished speaking when Hestia herself came trotting toward them.
"Welcome to Orario!" she beamed. "Once the joining ceremony is complete, I'll grant you my blessing. When you're not busy, you can explore the city freely. Just follow Captain Alex's arrangements."
Her eyes curved into happy crescents.
If someone had told her in the past that her familia would grow to this level one day, she wouldn't have believed it. They had already surpassed countless other gods. And ever since Alex condensed his own divinity, their overall strength had skyrocketed.
Even Zeus would have to think twice before picking a fight with them.
"Hestia, I'll leave the rest to you," Alex said, stretching lazily. After running around for so long, he deserved a break before moving on to the next task.
"No problem. Leave it to me."
As she spoke, Hestia shuffled closer and hooked herself around his arm. Her ample chest pressed snugly against him as she gently swayed.
"Alex… can you come see me tonight?" she asked softly.
"We'll talk later." Alex tried to pull his arm free.
She was holding on tighter than expected.
"I've still got other things to handle. Go give them their blessings first. They're all waiting."
With a firm tug, he freed his right arm and headed straight back toward the familia residence.
These women were getting scarier by the day.
He really needed to keep a lower profile in the future.
"All right, I'll take you to receive your blessings," Hestia said, clasping her hands behind her back as she led Akame and the others away. "Oh, and from now on, you can call me Lady Goddess."
She didn't notice the fleeting, unreadable look that flashed through Akame's eyes when she had wrapped herself around Alex's arm.
Orario.
Hestia Familia Residence.
Back in his room, Alex began thinking about how to distribute the points he'd earned.
The moment he opened the chat group, however, a special announcement popped up—visible only to him.
