The story takes place on a world called
Elyndros. Elyndros has 3 continents
🏰 AURENVALE – "The Heart of Crowns"
Political Specialization: Monarchical Hierarchy and Noble Courts
A lush and temperate continent divided by bloodlines and prestige.
The Elderstone Range runs diagonally through the continent's heart, shaping borders and defining royal defenses.
Valeron — The High Throne Kingdom
Capital rests where the Elderstone Range meets the plains. Lightning storms over the peaks feed the royal forges.
Borders: Seraphine, Rhenmar, Ardenn
Seraphine
Lies on the eastern lowlands, far from the mountains, surrounded by fertile crystal valleys. Its nobles rely on peace treaties more than fortifications.
Borders: Valeron, Elandra, Falnwick
Rhenmar
Positioned against the western wall of the Elderstone foothills, it's considered Aurenvale's "iron gate." Mountain passes serve as strongholds for the royal sky knights.
Borders: Valeron, Kareth, Ardenn
Elandra
A southern sea-border kingdom. Its cliffs face the Azure Sea, and no mountains touch its land — only long rivers flowing down from Elderstone melt.
Borders: Seraphine, Falnwick
Ardenn
Northern forest realm bordering the upper ridges of the Elderstone Range. Mist often blankets its ancient ruins, where the remnants of the First Orb War still hum faintly beneath the soil.
Borders: Valeron, Rhenmar
🌲 THAL'CERYN – "The Wild Continent"
Political Specialization: Dominion Tribes and Mana Sovereignty
The Spine of Beasts coils through the continent's center — jagged and massive — but it doesn't divide all realms, leaving much of Thal'Ceryn wild and open.
Nyr'Fal — The Obsidian Crown
Built into the living mountain of Blackspire Peak, part of the Spine's core. Mana rivers flow through its obsidian tunnels, fueling its black citadel.
Borders: Morgath, Korvath
Morgath
Sits at the southern edge of the Spine of Beasts, where magma still seeps between mountain cracks. Its heat sustains the fire-cities below.
Borders: Nyr'Fal, Vel'Sai, Sornveil
Vel'Sai
Located on open jungle lowlands untouched by mountains. Druidic tribes thrive in humidity and tangled vines.
Borders: Morgath, Tyrshal, Sornveil
Korvath
Touches the northern end of the Spine, where the cliffs give way to stormy plains. Its gate citadel overlooks the frozen horizon.
Borders: Nyr'Fal, Tyrshal
Tyrshal
Resting far from the mountains, high on open tundra. Flying whales drift above, unbothered by the Spine's reach.
Borders: Vel'Sai, Korvath
Sornveil
Swampland kingdom lying completely beyond the reach of the Spine. Dense fog and bogs protect it better than any mountain wall.
Borders: Morgath, Vel'Sai
🌊 IRYNDEL – "The Shattered East"
Political Specialization: Trade Confederation and Maritime Diplomacy
Mostly sea and island realms. The Skybreaker Range only runs through the westernmost islands and cliffs — the rest lie open across the oceanic east.
Aelira — The Floating Capital
Hovering near the highest peaks of the Skybreaker Range, Aelira's floating citadel is anchored by mana chains to the tallest mountain called Aelspire.
Borders: Eiren, Dravenn Reach (via air routes)
Orris
Western coastal kingdom under the Skybreaker foothills. Its cliffs and tunnels connect to ancient mining routes long abandoned by dwarven traders.
Borders: Crestal, Dravenn Reach
Dravenn Reach
Built directly between mountain and sea, serving as the primary aerial dockyard through a Skybreaker valley pass.
Borders: Aelira, Orris
Kel'Ryn
Central island kingdom untouched by the Skybreaker's shadow — surrounded by winds and open sea.
Borders: Norwyn, Tahlmere
Norwyn
Northern coastal realm, touching the frozen extensions of the Skybreaker chain known as the Glacial Horns.
Borders: Kel'Ryn, Valdara
Tahlmere
Southern tropical island chain with no mountains at all — known for calm seas and open skies.
Borders: Eiren, Kel'Ryn
Eiren
Floating citadels connected to the lower ridges of the Skybreaker's base; its stability depends on the mountains' mana resonance.
Borders: Aelira, Tahlmere
Valdara
Eastern fortress kingdom built on high cliffs but separate from the Skybreaker's reach. Its walls face the Eastern Rift — a massive whirlpool said to reach the underworld.
Borders: Norwyn
