"Make people… like that. How do you make them so…" He trailed off, biting his lip, searching for the word before giving up. "I don't know. It's just… the kiss. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it."
I raised my eyebrows, settling deeper into my comfortable perch. "Is that right?"
"I woke up…" Mason's voice dropped so low I had to lean down to catch it. He was practically vibrating with embarrassment now, refusing to meet my eyes.
"I woke up earlier, and… I had a dream. About it. About you. And when I woke up, I… I had an erection." He hid his face in his hands, his shoulders hunching up to his ears. "That's why I was doing push-ups! I was trying to make it go away!"
A loud, sharp laugh burst right out of my throat. I couldn't stop it. I buried my face in my hands for a second, my chest shaking as I laughed at the absolute absurdity of it all.
