The black cat's eyes flared with purple light, and Xiaocheng's gaze became dazed, numbly continuing towards the alley's entrance.
Suzu chose not to kill Xiaocheng too, as per Li Yang's instructions.

There was a taxi waiting at the alley's entrance, and the driver was also hypnotized.
