She crossed her legs and closed her eyes, desperately trying to meditate. She attempted to force her remaining Level 56 mana through her meridians to fight off the supernatural cold.
It failed completely.
Her teeth chattered so violently they felt like they were going to crack. Frost was already forming on her dark eyelashes and the edges of her veil. Her lips had turned a terrifying, sickly shade of blue.
Leo sat directly across from her. He was completely relaxed.
He leaned back against the jagged ice wall, his broad, muscular torso completely bare. The 15% Draconic Bloodline pumping through his veins acted like a nuclear reactor. The air immediately around his body shimmered and distorted with intense, visible waves of heavy heat.
He watched her freeze. He didn't offer a blanket. He didn't offer sympathy.
