Leo grinned as he leaned in and whispered as his lips brushed softly against his ears.

"Do you?" Leo asked softly, pulling back just enough to look into her emerald eyes. He didn't move away; instead, he traced the line of her jaw with his thumb. "Because your heart is beating like a trapped bird against your ribs. And for someone who hates me, you're standing very still."
