This is Tao Min's first time eating city food outside of northern Anhui, and she couldn't care less about manners, her cherry lips became greasy from the feast.
The third dish was earth pot chicken, which not only included farm-raised chicken meat but also added pastries. The pastry borrowed the flavor of the dish, and the dish borrowed the aroma of the pastry, creating a characteristic mix of tender smoothness and dry fragrance.
Finally, all five dishes were served. The variety wasn't large, but considering there were only two people and each dish was generously portioned, it was a bit much.
Although the bold northern Anhui woman doesn't eat as little as Yan Qiuwen, it was rare to have authentic hometown cuisine, so Tao Min ate quite a lot, but eventually couldn't eat anymore. The rest was handled by Su Zelin like a breeze sweeping away the fallen leaves.
"You really eat a lot!"
Tao Min had witnessed this gluttonous capacity before, yet was still astounded.
