Arriving at the underground parking lot, Hunzi first opened the passenger door for Yan Qiuwen and asked, "Qiuwen, where are we going to eat?"
"My place!"
Yan Qiuwen uttered two words.
"Your place?"
Su Zelin was puzzled.
He initially thought Yan Qiuwen was taking him to a restaurant for dinner, but it turned out to be her home.
"My parents went to the Social Sciences Academy this morning and won't be back for a couple of days."
Yan Qiuwen implied that with her parents not home, Su Zelin wouldn't feel awkward dining there.
"Oh!"
Hunzi was relieved.
Maybe Qiuwen thought inviting him to her home for a meal was a more sincere way to express gratitude.
All the way to the lakeside villa, the two golden retrievers came running as they entered, wagging their tails, and weren't aggressive towards Su Zelin.
