Taotie is one of the four ancient fierce beasts, and also an ancient god before Celestial Emperor Hao ascended.
The biggest difference between ancient gods and modern gods, apart from their violent power, is their beast-like nature.
Perhaps influenced by this beast-like nature, most ancient gods lack wisdom altogether.
Until the Tao Ancestor attained Dao, and Outer Heaven's Purple Cloud Palace was established.
Only then did many ancient gods break free from this primordial beastly influence and begin to embark on the road to becoming wise beings.
Taotie was one of them and was a powerful entity known as one of the "Four Fierce Beasts" of the Ancient God Era.
Unfortunately, Taotie eventually encountered Emperor Hao, who sought to usher in a new era.
Slain by Emperor Hao, Taotie's soul fell into the hands of the Lord of the Mansion, becoming one of his precious collections.
"Roar!"
Once again, Taotie's roar echoed across the sky.
