After working my head out and bones weak , I got a call from my mom the one I have been trying to avoid ,her pressuring me to come get my betrothed wife - The girl that I was engaged to when I was just sixteen and she at ten years, A girl I had described as local when I visited my parents after I saw her playing in the rain despite she is a nineteen year old girl and disgusted by the way she hugged me after she saw me repeatedly calling me her husband that I vowed not to visit my parents house again , she has been living with them she was ten, which I find absurd.
" Mum I can't marry her" Benson replies after listening to his mom's nagging on the phone.
" You don't want to get married at your age , most children has started giving their mother grandkids , just last month your college friend gave birth to a baby boy ,I don't want to be mocked by my peers Benson and remember that you are my only
child cried his mother .
" Can't I get married to another woman , cause I won't settle with that local thing you call my .
" She isn't local Benson ,she is a good girl and I promised her late parents that you would get married to her ,I give you five days Benson to come take her or I would bring her myself don't you dare me boy , you know what I am capable of doing .
" Mum , I am busy and having a wife right now is definitely not part of my worry list.
"What are worried about , you are a CEO , you are not hungry or either homeless , so having a wife isn't a worry but a thing of Joy.
" Give me few weeks mum , I promise I will come take her- he said
" You have been saying it for a while now Benson ,if you don't come I would bring her and that is final Benson, she warned.
He became angry after his mother call, that his secretary was fired that day ,
" I won't marry her , and is final he yelled into empty air , and come to think of it ,he can't disobey his mom and knowing how stubborn his mother is when she was the first to end the call.
