"Something's not right."
Watching the Iwa ninja fighting Feng Bai ahead, Kakashi remained on high alert, warily scanning their surroundings.
"What do you mean?"
Moving with Rin to Kakashi's side and ensuring she was properly protected, Obito lifted his goggles, activating his Sharingan while questioning the meaning behind Kakashi's words.
"The previous Iwa ninja said there were two Iwa jonin stationed here, but only one is fighting Feng Bai. Where's the other one?"
Kakashi explained to Obito.
Before Obito could work out the implications, he felt a powerful kick strike his back, and his vision began spinning upside down.
With Rin's startled cry, Oishi, who had used the Camouflage Concealment Technique to approach from behind, easily captured her.
Seeing this development, Hikaru showed delight, preparing to break free from Feng Bai's entanglement and rendezvous with Oishi.
"Don't move, or I'll kill her."
Pressing a kunai to Rin's throat, Oishi threatened Kakashi, who was about to take action.
Hearing Rin's scream, Feng Bai didn't panic but instantly vanished from in front of Hikaru.
"He disappeared? No, could it be the same as before... Oishi, get away from there!"
Hikaru, who had been thinking about how to escape Feng Bai, saw his opponent voluntarily disappear and assumed a defensive stance. Then, as if realizing something, he frantically shouted toward Oishi.
Hikaru's warning came a step too late.
The moment Feng Bai vanished, Oishi felt only a numbness in his neck, followed by warm liquid flowing down his chest. He wanted to drive his kunai into Rin, but his arm was completely beyond his control.
"Hmph, good thing I prepared for this."
Effortlessly rescuing Rin from the throat-slashed Oishi's grasp, Feng Bai had no time to rest before activating Flying Thunder God again to return to Hikaru's side.
Obito and Kakashi rushed to Rin's side, checking on her condition.
"That terrifying speed—are you the Yellow Flash? No, the age and hair color are completely wrong!"
Watching Oishi get his throat slit by Feng Bai, Hikaru became somewhat flustered, desperately searching his memory for information about the youth before him.
Bending backward to dodge Hikaru's horizontal strike, Feng Bai discarded his kunai, drew White Fang from his back, and surged upward: "Konoha Style: Bamboo!"
Despite the elaborate name, this technique was essentially just a horizontal slash.
Contracting his abdomen, Hikaru barely avoided White Fang's edge, but his vest was sliced open—he'd nearly had his stomach cut open.
Taking a deep breath, Feng Bai coated White Fang with wind-natured chakra and continued his assault.
"Konoha Style: Pine!"
The upward slash was again dodged by Hikaru, but the pain coursing through his body forced him to halt.
"Impossible—I clearly avoided the blade..."
Staring at the wound deep enough to expose bone, Hikaru hadn't yet comprehended what had happened when Feng Bai pressed his attack.
"Konoha Style: Plum!"
The blade, swift as a gale, severed Hikaru's last thread of life. The spurting blood fell to the ground like scattered plum blossoms.
"I see... wind-natured chakra..."
Only in his final moments did Hikaru understand what had occurred, collapsing to the ground with lingering resentment.
Without the slightest carelessness, Feng Bai drove his blade into Hikaru's back to ensure there were no surprises before sheathing his sword.
"This brat is indeed troublesome."
Having observed the entire battle, Black Zetsu gained a preliminary understanding of Feng Bai's methods and began contemplating how to abduct Obito from this group.
"Hmm? That fellow seems to still have a breath left..."
Turning his attention to Oishi's "corpse," Black Zetsu instantly conceived a plan.
Actively separating from the White Zetsu he'd been inhabiting, Black Zetsu transformed into a puddle of black sludge, infiltrating underground before emerging beneath Oishi. While the man still clung to his last breath, Black Zetsu seized control of his body.
"Earth Release: Explosive Drill Thrust!"
Condensing sharp stone drills on his arms, the Black Zetsu-controlled Oishi suddenly leaped up from the ground, charging fiercely toward Rin.
He intended to use this opportunity to force Feng Bai to use Flying Thunder God again, then feint and abduct Obito while Rin was being rescued, finally using that White Zetsu to cover their retreat.
"Rin!"
Sensing Rin under attack, Obito's body moved faster than his mind, rushing to her side at the fastest speed of his life and pushing her away, completely exposing himself to the drill's attack range.
"No way—he's still alive?!"
Having just sheathed his sword, Feng Bai heard Obito's voice and quickly turned around to see Oishi—whose neck wound was so deep the tracheal cross-section was visible—still capable of movement and launching an attack at Obito.
"Earth Release: Earth Flow Wall!"
The dog-headed earth wall separated Obito from Oishi, but the heavy, sharp drill easily penetrated the Earth Flow Wall. Fortunately, the moment the wall rose, Kakashi had already pulled Obito aside, preventing Oishi's attack from reaching his chest.
[Damn it, I overlooked that white-haired brat!]
Not expecting Kakashi's reaction speed to be so swift, Black Zetsu didn't lose heart. Instead, he had Oishi activate the Camouflage Concealment Technique, then quickly approached Obito, drawing his ninja blade the instant he materialized.
Oishi didn't have much time left—Black Zetsu had to severely wound Obito and take him away with this single attack!
Kakashi and Obito assumed the target was still Rin, keeping their attention focused entirely on her.

When Oishi materialized, his blade was only centimeters from Obito's shoulder.
Warm blood sprayed across Obito's face, obscuring his vision.
But the anticipated pain never manifested in his own body.
When Obito wiped the blood from his face and saw the situation clearly, he discovered a familiar silhouette standing before him.
Everyone was stunned.
Especially Black Zetsu—no matter how hard he wracked his brains, he couldn't understand why this Feng Bai hadn't teleported to the girl's side as expected, but had instead appeared before the seemingly least endangered Obito, even blocking a blade for him.
Wait—how did you know my real target was actually Obito?
And why would you use your body to shield him?!
Unable to comprehend the situation, Black Zetsu stood frozen, not yet having conceived his next move when the sharp sound of thunder grew increasingly clear in his ears.
"Damn it, Feng Bai!"
With a desperate roar, Kakashi charged toward Oishi with his Lightning Cutter.
Watching Oishi's heart get pierced, Black Zetsu knew it was impossible to take Obito away this time. He simply abandoned the body, transforming back into black sludge and sliding down Oishi's pant leg to escape.
It looked exactly like Oishi had defecated a massive lump.
"Feng Bai, how are you?"
Forcefully pushing Obito aside, Rin rushed to treat Feng Bai, who had collapsed to the ground.
When she saw Feng Bai's wounds clearly, she wore a peculiar expression.
"How is he, Rin?"
After confirming Oishi was thoroughly dead, Kakashi hurried over, anxiously inquiring about Feng Bai's condition while also getting a clear view of his injuries.
"Uh..."
