Chapter 256 - Chapter 136: Dumbledore's Misfortune (Second Update)

Voldemort, who was being pointed at with a magic wand, suddenly felt a bone-chilling cold, making his entire spirit body feel icy, like maggots gnawing at his bones.

Just as he wanted to run out, he heard Harry's cheerful words.

"Now let you feel this—"

If anyone were there, they would notice that the black mist suddenly expanded, becoming incredibly huge.

Then, a purple light flashed, exploding with a violent sound.

Voldemort's black mist was instantly blasted away, disappearing without a trace.

"Revelio!"

Harry waved his magic wand to detect Voldemort's presence, but the result of the detection spell told him that this particular Voldemort had already vanished within the Chamber of Secrets.

He was sure Voldemort would not escape.

If that's the case... then only the younger version of the cross-dressing Voldemort remains, he thought.

At this moment, Pansy slowly woke up.

"Where... am I?" she asked blankly.

"You're in Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets, Miss Parkinson," Harry said politely, looking quite gentlemanly.

He extended his hand to pull Pansy up from the ground.

"If you still had some awareness left just now, you should remember the conversation between me and Voldemort?"

Pansy tried hard to recall. After a moment, she suddenly jumped up from the spot.

She looked at Harry, seemingly unable to accept the fact that Voldemort was a mixed blood.

"So... what you said is true?" Pansy said, covering her face, somewhat breaking down: "Oh my, oh my... I thought... oh my..."

"You should think about the positives, like at least you're still alive," Harry looked at Pansy and then said: "Tell me, why are you here? Is it just because you followed Voldemort's persuasion?"

"I don't know..." Pansy, covering her face, said tearfully: "Ever since I picked up that notebook, I felt... I felt I couldn't refuse any of his requests, oh my, it's so terrifying. I indeed dislike the Mudbloods, but I never thought of killing that Creevey—although he's indeed annoying..."

"What do you hate?" Harry asked with a frown.

"I..." Pansy mumbled, timidly glancing at Harry, "Sorry, Mr. Potter, I..."

Harry snorted.

"It's Muggle-born students," Pansy honestly said, "But, Mr. Potter, I..."

Harry said nothing, pulling out a bottle of magic potion from his pocket.

It was st… picked up from the old professor's office.

He then pulled out a cup of pumpkin juice, dripped three drops into it, and handed it to Pansy, saying: "Drink it, you'll feel better—it's pumpkin juice with truth serum."

Pansy didn't hesitate at all, taking the pumpkin juice and drinking it down in one go.

Seeing Pansy's actions, Harry nodded slightly, approving of her behavior.

If she had hesitated even a bit, what awaited her would have been...

"Alright, now we can talk about what happened before." Harry said to Pansy: "As a gentleman, I suppose I won't use mind reading on a lady, after all, I'm not Melop... Voldemort's disgusting mother, that kind of woman... Alright, now you can answer my questions."

Under the effect of the truth serum, Pansy hid nothing, explaining in detail what actually happened.

She didn't lie; she was indeed under Voldemort's soul-snatching curse.

What Harry hadn't expected was that even under the influence of the truth serum, Pansy wouldn't say the word "Mudblood" anymore.

This meant that Pansy passed the test with Harry.

"I understand." Harry nodded and said: "Regarding this incident, I won't erase your memory—but you will have to face appropriate punishment, understand?"

"I understand, I understand..." Pansy kept nodding, tears streaming down her face.

"The decision on your punishment will be left to Professor Dumbledore." Harry said, waving his magic wand.

"Professor Dumbledore?" Pansy suddenly stopped sobbing, "Wasn't he dismissed by the school board?"

"That was merely a trap set by Professor Dumbledore and me, to lure Voldemort into the open," Harry replied, extending his hand, "Grab my hand!"

"Oh!" Pansy reached out and grasped Harry's hand.

Harry, holding Pansy, apparated to the school's main gate.

"Alright, come with me to the Headmaster's Office," he said.

Harry and Pansy made their way to the Headmaster's Office, finding the Dripping Stone Beast blocking the way.

"Password," the Dripping Stone Beast said.

Harry said nothing, releasing black flames to envelop the Dripping Stone Beast.

"The password is Pure Blood!" the Dripping Stone Beast quickly said, "This is the password set by Acting Headmaster Mr. Malfoy!"

Harry chuckled, withdrawing the black Fiery Fire.

The Dripping Stone Beast stepped aside, allowing Harry and Pansy to pass.

Inside the Hogwarts Headmaster's Office, Lucius was sitting in the headmaster's chair, polishing his snake-headed wand.

Seeing Harry enter, Lucius stood up and, upon seeing Pansy, cleared his throat and said, "Mr. Potter—what business do you have in the Headmaster's Office?"

"Miss Parkinson has been rescued," Harry said, "Voldemort's spirit has also been eradicated by me, and now—it's time to discuss the handling of Miss Parkinson. Where's Dumbledore?"

"You said, a play must be performed thoroughly." Lucius smiled and said to Harry, "I suppose Dumbledore is now waiting somewhere outside the school, blocking Voldemort's escape."
