Chapter 144 - Chapter 114: Giving Them Face, It's the Ministry of Magic; Without It...

"Nice throwing skills, Ron," Harry shouted in praise, "Looks like you could make a fine Chaser."

"Hey, if you've finished your letter, hurry up and help!" Ron shouted back.

He had just said this when his mother knocked him on the head.

"Ron! Harry is a guest, how can you ask him to work with you!"

After speaking, Mrs. Weasley changed her expression lightning-fast: "Oh, dear Harry, I'm so glad you could visit us—happy birthday."

"Thank you, Auntie Molly." Harry nodded with a smile and walked inside saying, "I'll help Ron out—after all, the goblins in the garden are just too numerous for him to handle alone... speaking of which, where are Fred and George?"

"No idea where they've run off to," Mrs. Weasley sighed with her hands on her hips, "Those two mischief-makers, I never know where they'll end up..."

Just as Harry reached Ron, wanting to help him pull out goblins, they heard a blast from a steamboat horn in the distant sky.

"Fred! George!"

A burst of angry shouting erupted beside him.

Harry turned his head to look, apprehensively turned back.

Too frightening, Auntie Molly...

"Haha, those two took Dad's car for a spin and got caught by Mum." Ron said gleefully.

With the culprits not being him, Ron could freely indulge in the spectacle.

Fortunately, Ron had been doing well recently, his test scores were good, so Mrs. Weasley didn't spread her fury onto Ron.

In fact, this youngest son had won fifty points for the House at the year's end!

After a bit of scolding, Mrs. Weasley went inside to start preparing dinner.

As soon as she left, Fred and George shed their docile demeanor and immediately started a new round of merriment.

"Hey, Harry." Fred and George approached from both sides, "We forgot to tell you, a few days ago we invented a little something—take a taste of this candy."

Harry took the candy from Fred's hand, curiously asked, "What is this?"

"We call it Instant Escape Candy," Fred whispered, "Once you eat it, you'll start a fake nosebleed—it won't harm the eater's body, I think if it's sold at your cousin's school, it could make huge profits, right?"

"A bit unfortunate, Fred," Harry sighed, "I sent my cousin some Magic World snacks a few days ago, and received a warning letter from the Ministry of Magic."

"I can vouch for that," Ron chimed in, "Right now it's just a warning. If there's a next time, Harry will have to report to Azkaban."

"Oh, there seems to be such a rule," Fred shrugged.

George wrapped an arm around Fred's shoulder, chuckled, "But no worries, we can sell it to other classmates—"

"Just think about it," they said in unison, "If there's a candy that only costs two Sickles, making you escape Professor Snape's Magic Potion class..."

"I'll take them all."

Ron said without hesitation, rummaging through his pockets, found one Sickle and ten copper knuts.

"How about as a first deal you sell them to me at a discount?" Ron tentatively asked.

"Two Sickles." Fred and George said together, giving Ron no chance to haggle.

"Come on, I'm your little brother!" Ron said angrily, "Is money all you care about?"

"Well said, Ron, well said," the two teased together, "Four Sickles."

Harry almost died laughing at the antics of these Weasley brothers, he could tell—Fred and George were definitely Ron's real brothers, otherwise they wouldn't tease him so much.

The brothers laughed and giggled, eventually Fred and George took all of Ron's savings, giving him several pieces of Instant Escape Candy.

"You can help us sell, Little Ronnie." George coaxed in Ron's ear, "Big brothers will give you some commission as a reward, how does that sound?"

"Deal!" Ron feared he wouldn't agree soon enough and his brothers would change their minds.

"Then it's settled." Fred and George said contentedly.

The few of them tossed goblins around in the garden, chatting casually.

From the Dursley family, they chatted all the way to the Weasley family, ending with Mrs. Weasley calling everyone for dinner.

"I actually have another friend." Harry suddenly remembered Pabi, took out his wallet to release her.

Upon seeing Pabi, everyone took a collective gasp.

"Oh my goodness, Harry," Fred and George said, "Did you know? We used to call you the Lion King for your skills—but now it's heartfelt, because you actually dared to bring a Unicorn out of the Forbidden Forest!"

"I almost forgot about Pabi, if it weren't for dinner." Harry laughed, calling to Pabi, "Pabi, shall we have some food together?"

"I'm not hungry yet," Pabi said bashfully, "While I was in your wallet, I ate all the snacks you bought."

"You eat so much..." Fred was shocked, "Whoa, I didn't know Unicorns ate what humans do."

"I might be special." Pabi rubbed against Harry's shoulder, "Are you all going to eat now?"

"Yes, though looks like I don't need to bring you a portion." Harry reached out to pinch Pabi's neck, "Let me introduce you to Auntie Molly and the others first..."

"Okay!" Pabi said cheerfully.

On entering, Harry leading a horse in, Mrs. Weasley hadn't realized what was happening.

But when she looked closer, she saw the horn on Pabi's head.

"Is... is this a Unicorn?!" Mrs. Weasley asked in shock.

Percy, who was sitting at the table reading, dropped his book onto the table with a thud.

"Yes, this is my friend, Pabi." Harry hugged Pabi's neck, starting introductions.

Pabi's sweet talk and playfulness, continuously calling Auntie Molly, left Mrs. Weasley smiling broadly.

Harry's eyelid twitched, thinking, you're over a hundred years old...

After introductions, everyone sat down, including Pabi. Unable to resist Mrs. Weasley's hospitality, Pabi stood by the table, next to Harry.

As soon as they sat down, Mr. Weasley rushed in from outside, dusty and weary.

"Looks like I made it back just in time?" Mr. Weasley was carrying a big cream cake: "Here, I brought this for you, Harry—um? Unicorn?"

Harry quickly said, "Thank you, Uncle Arthur—this is Pabi, she is my friend."

"Hello, Uncle Arthur," Pabi nodded.

"Hello to you too."

Mr. Weasley greeted Pabi, walked to the table, placed the cake on it, and seeing his dejected twin sons, he asked with a laugh, "What's wrong? Fred, George—why do you look so downcast?"

"Yes, Arthur, they took the car!"

Not good to mention it, at the mention Mrs. Weasley's eyes started to blaze, "Imagine, a wizard bought a rusty old car, telling his wife he just wanted to take it apart and see its insides, but in fact, he used magic to turn it into a flying car—"

"Oh, relax, dear, there are loopholes in the law, as long as you don't actually fly in it, it doesn't breach any laws." Mr. Weasley said nonchalantly.

"But today at noon! Your two sons actually flew up in that car!" Mrs. Weasley said in fury.

"Really?" Mr. Weasley showed a proud smile, promptly asked the sons, "How did it fly?"

Mrs. Weasley slammed the table hard.

"It's wrong, kids, very very wrong—" Mr. Weasley quickly corrected himself.

"Dad, why did you come back so late?" Fred tried to change the topic, "Wasn't it said the Muggle matters had ended?"

"Not ended yet," Mr. Weasley sighed, "Things seem to be getting more troublesome, Muggle Aurors said a murder happened on a cruise ship from London to New York, all the Muggles aboard are dead—apparently something called 'surveillance' showed it was a black-haired, red-eyed girl who did it."
