It came like a hurricane.

It seeped, it poured- like mercury flowing uninterrupted through a tunnel.
It boiled through streets that once glowed with neon advertisements and bustled with Geneform activity.
The popular maglev train station collapsed under the weight of the bodies as myriad types of Neon Beasts from scaled beasts to furred ones, to chitin-plated abominations crawled over one another in a living surge.
The soldiers stationed in the train station detonated bombs in their midst but it felt like throwing a stone in a sea.
The ripple was barely felt as hundreds of Neon Beasts took the place of the few that died to the bomb.

Bullets flew like rain, yet it couldn't stop them.
They were unstoppable, they were endless, and they were devouring the city one district at a time.
