"Daiyousei, goodnight." At night, Cirno yawned and bid Daiyousei goodnight before lying down to sleep.
"Goodnight, Cirno." Daiyousei watched Cirno fall asleep, then lay down herself. Unlike Cirno, who fell asleep immediately, Daiyousei was reluctant to sleep because of her nightly dreams.
Every time she closed her eyes, she would dream about the recent events, only to wake up midway because her panties were soaked. This left her feeling conflicted. Yet, even as she resisted sleep, she eventually succumbed to exhaustion and closed her eyes.
Just as Daiyousei feared, she found herself in the familiar Great Library. Unlike the initial panic, Daiyousei had grown somewhat accustomed to this situation and no longer felt too nervous.
As she walked toward the location where the incident had occurred, Daiyousei heard the familiar sounds, and her face flushed slightly. Even though she was adapting, she still couldn't help but feel shy about the sounds.
While listening to the sounds that usually made her blush, Daiyousei suddenly felt that the sounds were slightly different, even giving her a sense of strange familiarity.
This made Daiyousei confused. She walked past the bookshelf but saw nothing, and the sounds had completely vanished.
"Nothing?" The unexpected emptiness left Daiyousei bewildered. She walked to the spot where Kars and Koakuma usually stood. As she wondered why things were different today, her earlobe was suddenly bitten, causing her body to freeze.
"Since you saw it, why don't you join in?" Koakuma's voice appeared in her ear, and her figure slowly materialized. At the same time, Daiyousei involuntarily braced herself against the bookshelf, bending her waist. She felt her panties being pulled off. She was now in the exact same position she had seen Koakuma take previously.
Daiyousei knew exactly what would happen next. She turned her head and saw Kars appear behind her, his gaze fixed on her uplifted rear.
"D-Don't look…" Daiyousei whispered a faint protest, but it had no effect whatsoever.
"Don't you want to play? You secretly want to, don't you? Playing alone is so boring. See for yourself." Koakuma took a book off the shelf in front of Daiyousei. Daiyousei looked through the gap and her eyes widened: there was another her on the other side. That self was leaning against the bookshelf, listening to the sounds coming from behind, and had slipped a hand under her skirt.
Witnessing herself performing that act was incredibly embarrassing for Daiyousei.
"See? It's boring by yourself, isn't it? Let's play together." As soon as Koakuma finished speaking, Daiyousei felt a familiar sensation below, the same sensation she created when she couldn't help but touch herself.
Cute, suggestive sounds escaped Daiyousei's mouth, and they were identical to the familiar sounds she had heard earlier. But at this moment, Daiyousei couldn't think about anything else.
In reality, the sleeping Daiyousei on the bed had a flushed face and occasionally let out suggestive gasps, yet she didn't wake up. This continued until the middle of the night before she finally quieted down.
The next day, Daiyousei woke up to the light and immediately got out of bed. She touched her panties; the warm, damp feeling confirmed everything. Even her dream had changed—the original Koakuma had been replaced by herself.
"Daiyousei, didn't you sleep well?" Cirno, having woken up, saw Daiyousei's poor mental state and asked with concern.
"No, I didn't sleep well, but you don't need to worry about me, Cirno." Daiyousei forced a smile to reassure Cirno. However, the strained smile didn't reassure Cirno at all, but she didn't know what to do.
Feeling helpless, Cirno decided to seek help from others, approaching Lyrica and the others.
"What do you think is going on with Daiyousei?" Cirno described Daiyousei's situation to Lyrica and the others, waiting for their answers. She didn't tell them everything; she kept the detail about Daiyousei changing her underwear a secret, thinking it necessary to protect her friend's privacy, as Cirno mistakenly believed Daiyousei was wetting the bed.
After hearing Cirno's explanation, Lyrica was also confused by Daiyousei's condition, but one thing was certain: Daiyousei had been like this ever since they returned from Kars's house last time. Plus, she was secretly watching Kars and blushing and looking away when caught. Could it be that she's fallen in love with Kars?
Lyrica wasn't alone in this thought; Mystia felt the same way. This behavior strongly resembled someone who had fallen in love and whose mental state was suffering from longing.
"Maybe we can't help directly, but perhaps going to Kars will solve it."
"We need Kars's help? I know it's related to Kars, but why?" Cirno asked.
Lyrica began to explain. "Daiyousei's condition clearly looks like she's in love with Kars. According to you, she secretly watches Kars, blushes when caught, and this only started after coming back from his house. That makes the problem obvious."
"Is that so? Then can finding Kars solve the problem?"
"There's a good chance it will. We should try it to find out. If it doesn't work, we can think of something else." Lyrica felt there was a high probability this was the issue. Perhaps if Daiyousei spent some time with Kars, the object of her affection, it would make her feel happy and satisfied, thus improving her mental state.
"Alright then. Let's go play with Kars today. We'll do what you suggested." Cirno nodded, planning to follow Lyrica's advice and see if letting Daiyousei spend time with Kars would help when they went to the Scarlet Devil Mansion later that day.
