The night smothered the cemetery in choking silence, but evil was loose beneath the ancient German earth. Wind howled between the cracked headstones like hungry spirits, bringing with it the stench of rot. Father Matthias, a young Orthodox priest, moved through the gloom with only his battered cross for comfort.
The soil was violated—graves split open, wooden coffins smashed to splinters. The remains inside had not merely been disturbed; they were desecrated. Limbs were torn free, skulls shattered as if crushed by monstrous hands. Blood and bone decorated the grass, obscene relics of blasphemy.
Father Matthias could feel his prayers dying in his throat. Each step deeper into the cemetery drew him closer to something unspeakable—a darkness that mocked his faith and defied the sanctity of the dead.
Suddenly, he heard grotesque slurping among the ruined graves. Steeling himself, he forced his gaze on the shadow crouched atop a demolished tomb. The creature looked part-man, part-corpse: ears pointed, jaws caked with gore, flesh sloughing from bone. Its claws gleamed wetly as it gnawed at a fresh corpse, eyes glowing like embers in the moonlight.
The priest recoiled in terror. Before he could utter a prayer, the Nachzehrer stared at him with its dead red gaze—and in one impossible motion, hurled a gravestone that sent him sprawling into oblivion as he was unconscious being unable to wake up. as it then became morning as the young male priest Matthias woke up trying to gain composure which he said, what in the lords name happened as he was trying to process what happened as he remembered seeing a strange beast that attacked him as he tried going into the church, to see if anything is destroyed but only saw nothing as he's thanked the lord nobody was hurt only thing the beast did was consumed corpses.
So Young Mathias began, walking through the cemetery, seeing if theirs's any proof as he's walking past the area, and wanted to know if anyone knew of what happened last night, which he began asking many people if they heard anything last night. so he asked the people who work at the cemetery if they had seen anything but he got no answers, which disappointed him, as it was a hard time. When he went to the authorities, like a police officer, they didn't believe him and mocked and laughed at him, thinking he was just overexaggerating, and told him to just leave.
this made him quite annoyed but he kept his patience and tried getting information either way as he went looking through the cemetery as when he kept on looking he found a weird grave that was weirdly opened the coffin was open but it had a photo of a elderly man as he remembered when talking, to the living members of the family, saying he died by falling in the window which made him skeptical as he didn't think it was the same person as he assumed it was opened and thought the vampire was someone else in which he kept searching and saw many corpses desecrated including, there limbs bitten along with their arms and bodies ripped even when their decayed so when he went g rave he went to with the photo he found he saw strange symbols, within the coffin making him question why their even there in the first place.
