A few weeks later it seems things have calmed down, there's been no signs of that killer anywhere, Cedar cove is back to being its boring self. I'm doing my patrol around the area when I get a text from Krystal

I get a call from over the radio by dispatch

"Yes but other officers are busy?"

What the fuck why am I doing this bullshit. About thirty minutes later i arrive to Caps place and head up to the door, still talking shit
"Man cap better promote me or something after all this bullshit"
I knock on the door and it opens slightly
"What the hell…"
I open the door and walk in, everything is thrown around and destroyed. I pull out my handgun and call in to dispatch
"Officer Sanchez to dispatch"
"Go for dispatch"
"Cap's front door was open when I arrived, the inside is trashed, send back up"
"Back up is in route"
I walk around and call out
"Cedar cove PD!!"
Nothing
"Cap!!! Are you in here?!?"
I walk around and find nothing, I head into what looks like an office and I find Cap's body. He's tied up to his chair and looks like he was beaten to death, his uniform is the only way I could tell it was him.
"Officer Sanchez to dispatch, we have a man down!"
"Fuck man, not you too cap"
I look up at the wall behind him, written under a cross he had hung up is the hourglass drawn in blood along with some more words
"I've slept so long without you"
I pull out my phone and take a picture for later.
A few minutes later the house is surrounded by cops and investigators, I'm standing outside with Officer Taylor
"Damn man this has to stop"
"We're doing all we can Sanchez"
"Doesn't he have cameras up, check the tapes"
"The cameras were destroyed and that box was taken"
"Get the fuck outta here!"
I look out and see a huge crowd behind the caution tape with the news here
"Jesus now our town is going to be all over the news, killer strikes again at nine o clock"
"This is getting ridiculous"
Just then in the crowd I see a man dressed the same as the guy in the video
"Taylor… look in the crowd… please tell me I'm not seeing things"

"You don't see the guy dressed as that suspect in the Torres video?"

"He's literally standing right there!"

I take off running towards the crowd and the suspect takes off running.

The suspect continues running, as Taylor screams after me

I just continue running and chasing him, I get close to him and pull out my handgun

I run over and rip the mask off him, it's a normal looking guy that looks scared shitless

He pulls out his phone and shows his clock in time at the gym

I head home after work and Krystal is already there waiting for me
