Chapter 137 - Round two against the Dark Founder

Saruto sat in the middle of the Time Chamber. Ready to return to the Founding Father's world, he closed his eyes. When he opened them again, he found himself in the Founding Father's world, Adrian's.

The world was just as he had left it before: devastated, a dark sky, and craters everywhere. But Saruto hadn't come to see it. He suddenly unleashed his aura, announcing his arrival. Adrian slowly raised his head, felt Saruto's energy, and smiled coldly without turning around: "That stubborn kid is back... Hasn't he learned his lesson yet?"

Then he gripped his sword even tighter and added, his voice laced with deadly sarcasm, "Looks like I'll have to crush you this time."

But before he could finish his sentence, he felt a hand on his shoulder from behind. His body froze, his eyes wide with surprise, and then, in the next instant, before he could turn around, Saruto's hand rose and struck him hard on the back.

The ground cracked beneath him, dust billowed into the air, and Adrian was violently propelled forward, blood spurting from his mouth as he slammed against the rocks before sinking to the ground. He struggled to raise his head, wiping the blood from his mouth with a sharp breath, his eyes blazing with fury: "How...? I didn't even feel him coming! This kid surprises me every time!"

Then he smiled wickedly, stood, his voice deep and resonant, like the roar of an ancient dragon: "But no more dodging this time..."

He raised his hand to the sky, shadows beginning to swirl around him, his voice shaking the very foundations: "Common Consciousness!"

A massive, dark energy erupted from him, making the heavens themselves seem to split open. His aura was unlike anything Saruto had ever encountered. In an instant, he was right in front of Saruto, his sword hissing demonicly as it cut through the air, and the real fight began.

The two traded blows in rapid succession. Each clash of their swords generated a spark of energy powerful enough to shatter a mountain. The world around them shook; rocks flew in every direction, and the air itself seemed to tear apart with pressure. Adrien laughed amidst the fight, his voice a mixture of surprise and admiration. "You're even stronger than last time… How did you manage that in such a short time?"

Saruto grinned, his eyes blazing, his voice a blend of his own and Void's. "It's the will to fight, you fool!"

The next moment, he rose into the air and spun his body around completely, then delivered a powerful punch to Adrian's chin. The Fourth Founder flew high into the sky, yelling as he struggled to regain his balance, "Will? What nonsense are you talking about, kid?!"

But before he could recover, Saruto appeared behind him, using his teleportation. He grabbed Adrien by the leg, spun him around at incredible speed, and hurled him to the ground.

Adrian slammed into the ground with indescribable force. The entire floor shook, and a thick cloud of dust rose, blanketing the sky. From the smoke, Adrian raised his head, coughing up blood, only to be startled by Saruto flying above him, his aura glowing with a ferocity he had never witnessed before.

Saruto raised his hand, gathering his energy in his palm. A vortex of purple swirled at breakneck speed, transforming into a dense sphere of pure energy, mimicking Void's technique. Anger surged through Adrian's veins. He roared in a hoarse voice, brimming with arrogance, "You arrogant brat… how dare you underestimate me?!"

Adrian rose, forming a dragon's head on his shield, its eyes blazing with a dark red light. He, too, began to gather energy into the dragon's mouth. The sky cracked open. The earth crumbled under the immense pressure.

Then, in a single moment, the two launched their attack simultaneously. The two attacks exploded midway between them, a terrible blast that shook the world as if it were about to collapse. The sound of the explosion pierced the horizon, and the whole place was covered with a glare through which nothing could be seen.
