Chapter 18 - Meeting the second founder of the Lewin family

Saruto sat in the Chamber of Ruins, enveloped in heavy silence. Beads of sweat trickled down his forehead after his grueling gravity training. He had turned off gravity on the system's screen and activated the healing process to repair himself. He closed his eyes, clenched his fists, and whispered resolutely, "Now that I have shaped my weapon as the Third Founder commanded, it is time to go to the world of the Second Founder and crush him."

He sat in the Chamber of Time, entering a state of complete focus. He opened his eyes to find himself in a completely different place. The air was heavy, choked with black smoke rising from the cracked earth. The sky was red, and volcanic flashes illuminated the horizon. The scene resembled an endless hell.

In the midst of the devastation, a dark throne rose atop a black stone hill. Upon it sat a majestic figure, his long purple hair billowing in the invisible wind, a black sword in his hand from which terrifying sparks of energy emanated.

Suddenly… a wave of murderous intent erupted from the Founder's body. It wasn't just an aura; it was an invisible sword piercing the soul.

Saruto knelt, his body trembling under the pressure. His breath came in gasps, his heart pounding. He felt as if mountains of iron had been placed upon his shoulders.

The Second Founder smiled from his throne, his deep, husky voice echoing in the void:

"Is that all you have to offer, heir of the Luin?"

Saruto growled through gritted teeth, his violet eyes blazing:

"No, I will not... kneel!"

He reached out a trembling hand to prop himself up, then forced his body to his feet despite the pain. His body was drenched in sweat, his knees shaking, but he stood tall.

Not a moment passed before... the Founder vanished from the throne!

He appeared before him in a swift movement, unnoticed by his eyes, as if time itself had leaped by.

"Welcome, heir of darkness, to my world…"

He said this before delivering a vicious punch to Saruto's stomach. A blow that nearly tore his insides apart. Saruto staggered back, collapsing to his knees, coughing up blood, but his eyes remained open.

The founder chuckled coldly as he placed his sword on Saruto's shoulder.

"If you can't endure this much pain… you won't last a second against me."
