Chapter 18: The Proposal
It was a quiet night in Hyde Park. Fairy lights sparkled across the garden — the same one from the sketch.
Wisdom took her there, blindfolded.
"Okay," he whispered, "you can look now."
Future opened her eyes — and gasped.
The place glowed like a dream. Flowers everywhere. Candles shaped like a heart.
And Wisdom, kneeling in the middle, holding a ring.
"Future," he said softly, his voice trembling with emotion, "from the moment you laughed under that broken umbrella, you changed my world. You are my sunshine in London rain, my peace, my home. Will you marry me?"
Tears rolled down her cheeks as she whispered, "Yes… a thousand times yes."
He slipped the ring onto her finger, and the crowd of their friends cheered.
When he kissed her, fireworks lit up the sky.
Future laughed between tears. "You did it just like your sketch."
He smiled. "Because I planned to make art out of our love — forever."
