As the sun went down and I looked over the amassed army, smirking as the drones stood in formation like a Roman legion, ready to attack. Soon, Tina, you will be with me in the land of the living. I thought to myself as I ordered the march. It was going to be a moonless night, the perfect time to attack a city.
The march began, and we had twenty miles to clear, but that wouldn't be a problem for me or the drones. We moved stealthily in the desert sand, as I looked over the formation, and the recon drones had finally reached the city. It was called Hamunaptra. It was seventy square miles of city. For a city in the desert, it was massive.
Looking at the defences of the city, I noticed they had a few thousand Anu's guarding each side outside of the wall, with two sphinxes at each of the four gates. Those had to be the female sphinxes I had heard about. I had made my mind up to tame those girls and make them into slutty cock sucking sphinxes.
On top of the wall, what looked to be mummy archers, and I noticed what looked to be some form of female Priestess or mages. "Do not kill females, wound them to the point they can't fight and bring them to me once the battle is over," I ordered my drones. Looks like I will keep the Lee units and Nepoalon units dealing with outside the city.
As I believe the army of this city will leave the walls to stop me, letting me deal with the main force. I need to force the Legendary Rank out of the city so I may "teach" her the rightful place she belongs. I thought to myself as a smirk spread across my face. As we made it halfway, I split the Lee units, keeping 1/4 here while the other 3/4 started walking outwards.
I plan to have them surround the city at a distance of 10 miles, leaving 2,000 Artorias units to guard them. As they began their own journey, I stopped five miles out, waiting for them to get into position as I looked over the city. It had four tall obelisks at each corner of the city. Its wall had to be eight hundred meters tall. With a massive black-and-gold pyramid in the centre, topped with a crystal point, that has to be where the coffin of rebirth was.
As I ordered the drones to count the number of guards on top of the wall, I had a rough idea of how many are in the army. By the time they finished counting, the Lee units had taken their place, leaving 1/4 of the army with me; the rest began moving out to surround the city. I had kept the air units behind the army; they were fifteen miles out. I didn't want them getting too close to the city, so they didn't give away my movements.
The count was 1.5 million on the walls. If that was 1/4 of the army, I am looking at roughly 6 million. Not as many as the Zombies, but unlike the Zombies, these looked trained and could make choices. I ordered the air units to start moving in a circle pattern, slowly closing in as I pulled up the Lee units, ordering them to attack the Anu's once the air units clear their airspace.
The first Lee units to let off their ATACMS targeting the Anu's in front of the wall I was looking at, making sure not to his the Sphinxes. The ATACMS were of Legendary rank. I wanted to see if I could bring down that wall. Finally hearing them whisling over me before slamming into the row of Anu's, blowing up as the area was rocked with a defining roar of explosions.
Followed by another side, then another, until the last side had been hit. The first volley had wiped out half the Anu's on my side as another wave of ATACMS slammed into the latter half. The city broke into chaos as lights lit up and yelling could be heard. I ordered the advance of my army as we marched forth on each side.
The Priestess on top of the wall started to send out light orbs, but I was so far away that they couldn't pick up my army. As another round of ATACMS hit the outer wall, shaking it, but I found they did very little damage, making me surprised that Legendary rank ammo didn't do much. As I watched, the centre pyramid started to glow and shoot four beams of light to the obelisks. Making a lightscreen over the city.
Stopping my advance, I thought for a moment as I ordered the Lee units to change targets and attack the city as I restocked their ammo. As the first volley hit the lightscreen, doing no damage, I squatted down. How to deal with this new issue? Something has to be feeding that thing; it can stop the damage.
But at some point, it has to run out of steam. I ordered the Lee units to fire at it nonstop, and I ordered the Air units back so they could keep up the attack. ATACMS after ATACMS slammed into the lightscreen. I could see the light flicker after the first volley, but it held. This told me there was a limit to how much it could take.
Focusing on bringing down the lightsceen took a while, thirty minutes of nonstop firing, but it reached its limits as it shattered. I quickly ordered the flying units to target the obelisks and the crystal atop the pyramid. Ordering the advance of my army once more as we made it within a mile and a half, ordering the Ulysses units to open up on the gates to bring them down.
The sphinxes were taken by surprise as the darkness lit up, and the gates next to them erupted in explosions, sending them flying as they were wounded in the blast. It was at this point that the Pristess sent out another wave of light orbs, finally seeing my advancing army.
The Caesar units opened fire on top of the wall, taking out any archers that poked their heads up. I sent worker drones out with ropes and chains, which quickly tied up the sphinxes that couldn't move as the transport drones moved in. The archers couldn't stop them as they would have their heads exploded the moment they poked out.
Watching the wooden gates hold up for now was a surprise, but they slowly began to give way as chunks started to get blown off. Out of the eight sphinxes guarding the gates, six had been too wounded to fight back as they got tied up; the other two were struggling as I sent Artorias units to deal with them. It wouldn't take much longer for them to fall and become mine.
As the gate before me finally fell, I ordered the Caesar units on my front to stop a wave of mummies warriors rushing out of the destroyed gate. They looked to be stronger than the ones I met in the vampires' pyramid. I smirked as I moved the Artoias units into place, and once the mummies got within killing range, they opened fire using epic rank fire, lightning, and wind ammo.
The first line fell, tripping up the next, making them slow down as they tried to work around their fallen comrades. But that was a fatal mistake, as their speed in reaching my drones would drop by 1/4, making them easier targets. Closing the distance was key, and they lost their chance with that choice.
Their army was quickly thinning as I ordered the Artorias drones to advance, pushing them back as their fear slowly took hold. They hadn't been able to reach their enemy and had already lost 30% of their force. This was scaring them as they put up shields to make an orderly retreat, but they couldn't block the stuff killing them.
It didn't take long for them to drop their weapons and turn and run as quickly as they could back to the gate. But the ones closest to my army were slaughtered as they faced their backs towards me. The other gates began to fall at this time, and those armies didn't leave the safety of the walls after word had spread about what had happened.
She is a coward, I thought as my drones brought the last two sphinxes that had been guarding the walls. I began to tame them, as I ordered my army on stand by. I had a plan to use her ability to lead to my advantage, a smirk crossing my face as I finished taming the wounded sphinxes and spoke. "Take a human form so I can heal you," I said.
Their bodies slowly shrank as they lay on the sand, bleeding, as I pulled out healing potions. "Drink these," I ordered, looking at the tan-skinned sphinxes licking my lips.
