The void-gate closed behind me and I stood alone.
Not in another trial realm. Not in a new challenge space. Just standing in what remained of the Moon Court, but different now. Transformed by my presence.
The ruins of Luna's palace surrounded me. Shattered glass. Broken walls. The space where the Scarlet Throne had been, now just empty platform suspended in cosmic void.
But everything was flickering. Unstable. Like reality couldn't decide whether to continue existing or give up entirely.
The stars beyond the shattered walls, the ones that had spun steadily for what must have been eons, were dying.
Not going nova. Not collapsing. Just fading. Like candles burning out. Like lights being turned off one by one across the universe.
I could feel it through the divine power I'd absorbed. Could sense the Veil's structure beginning to fail. To collapse inward. To dissolve.
