(Cyrus's POV)
"W-What the hell....?" I said as I panted, sitting on a rock, "Where am I?"
It was all too confusing to me. I don't remember how I got to this place, to be honest.
One minute, I was in the comfort of my own home, going to bed, and everything. Next thing I know, I wake up on a beach, my entire body burning with pain. It made no sense to me; I had no idea what was going on.
I was attacked by some strange guy with a sword; he looked like a Knight, honestly. I didn't know how he wasn't able to kill me, I swear his blade cut through me.
I rubbed my neck, "What is this place?" I asked as I looked around, seeing that the night has fallen, "Shit.....why do I get this strange feeling?"
I looked to my side, seeing nothing but a massive cliff with what looked like a castle on the top. I could somehow make out the figure of said castle through the darkness, which I find to be rather surprising. From what I understand, I was at the coast of somewhere. The sea was before me, and I was on the coast, hidden among the rocks.
I have no idea where this could be, I haven't been to any coastal city that still had medieval castles. That's what made my confusion even worse, I had no clue where I could be. Maybe somewhere in Europe, which would be the obvious answer, but I was still drawing blanks.
"Damn...." I said
I heard the sound of a gust of wind bursting through, hitting me in the side and nearly toppling me from where I sat.
"Shit...." I said as I felt a strange sensation from the win, "What the...."
My vision got blurry, and there was a flash of white.
Suddenly, I was sitting on my ass in what looked like a misty plane. I felt nothing but a cold sensation from the mist, crawling onto my skin and causing me to shiver.
There was a strange figure manifesting from the mist, taking the form of a young woman, constantly flickering as it stood before me.
"Cyrus, was it?" The voice of a woman was heard
I frowned, "Huh?"
"Such a shame, for your fate be thrown in that world." The Voice said, "But so be it. I shall give you a chance to survive in this place. And the power to bend it to its knees."
I narrowed my eyes, "Who are you?" I asked, "What is going on????"
"Who I am is of no consequence to you." the voice said, "What should matter to you is that you are no longer in your former world. You have died, peacefully, in your sleep.....and you were reincarnated into this world."
"W-What?" I asked, "What do you mean I died? I was fine, I was-"
"Does it matter at this point?" She asked, "You are dead, reincarnated into the body of a young man who was a nobody in this world. But not just that, you were granted a power. As the rules state, You are to be bestowed an ability.....one that you might be familiar with."
I stood up, "I have no clue what you're talking about." I said, "What rules? What power?"
"You know.....if you could shut up for a second, I could explain it properly." The voice said, with a surprising tone of frustration
I scowled, "How do you expect me to shut the fuck up if I have no clue what is going on?!" I exclaimed, "Where am I?!"
"Planetos. Or specifically, Westeros." The voice said
"Westeros....." I said with a frown, "Like the books? The Song of Ice and Fire? And those two shows? What?"
"Yes, now let me explain." the voice said, "You were reincarnated-"
"Why the hell would I be reincarnated in this-" I started
"For crying out loud, shut up!!" The misty form flickered and I noticed how her eyes began to glow, "I am trying to summarize your situation, Cyrus!"
I closed my mouth, my eye twitching as I looked at the figure, completely annoyed by this.
Her misty hand was lifted, pointing at me with her finger, "You are now fated to be in this world." She said, "Live amongst these people and do what your heart desires. There is no way of returning unless you achieve a certain goal, which will allow me to grant you one wish. Details of that will come at a later time, when I contact you. You were given an ability, one that will prove more than useful here. And not just that, depending on your Willpower, you might unlock many more abilities."
I raised an eyebrow, "An ability..."
"Your body is made out of flames.....intangible, and full of destructive power." She said, "You might be familiar with it."
"Fire....intangibility..." I said before I widened my eyes, "A Fire Logia...wait, I have Ace's ability?"
"Indeed." She nodded, "Wield that power how you wish. You can learn how to control it, master it completely, and use it to do whatever it is you wish."
I have the Mera-Mera no Mi....from One Piece...
That's insane.
I mean, this whole ordeal is insane, I won't lie.
Just what is happening.....?
"Until we meet again, Cyrus." the voice said
The entire plane began to shake violently, and there was a flash of white.
Next thing I knew, I was back sitting on the rock, feeling the wind hit my back.
"What....." I said as I stood up and looked around, "I...."
Whoever that was.....Whatever that was.....it granted me a power that only in my dreams, I would be able to wield. A Logia ability, and Ace's ability....
Well, Sabo has it too but.....
That's not the point, the point is that I am a Logia user now.....if that is true. Which could explain how I was unable to be harmed by a simple sword. If the Knight did cut me, he cut through nothing but flames. I'm surprised his blade didn't get charred by my body, but that shouldn't concern me at all.
I raised my hand and looked at it, trying to will some flames to sprout.
"Come on..." I said
Then, a small flame appeared from my hand, the sensation of heat spreading throughout my body.
"Ah! Hot!" I said as I held my hand away, watching how the flame illuminated the whole area, "N-No....it's not hot...I am made out of fire.....the heat is just my imagination....my mind....my body is used to being affected by it...."
I looked at the flames, flickering in my palm as I stood there, feeling the wind slowly hit my back.
"Hm....." I said, "So I am in a strange world, I do not know....."
"Interesting...."
