Chapter 3 - Taking Action (2)

I sighed and said, "Let's move to the next topic."

"So tell me… the world travel function can really be used to travel between worlds, right?"

[Yes, but you can only use it once a year.]

I nodded slowly.

Then I looked at the clansmen standing in front of me.

To them, only a single second had passed while I held a full conversation with the system.

"Gather the most elite of the clan. Their strength must be at least mid-jōnin level. Also, send someone to investigate the background of that boy."

Both of them looked stunned.

One spoke cautiously:

"A-All the jōnin?"

I stared at him.

He quickly corrected himself.

"I-I mean… should we call the clan elders too?"

I shook my head.

He sighed in relief—only to stiffen when a realization hit him.

What is the Clan Leader planning…? Does he want to tear that boy to pieces?

I ignored their facial expressions and touched my eyes.

I still had no idea what my Mangekyō ability was in the original timeline.

But now the power inside my eyes felt extremely dangerous and powerful—strong enough to kill me if I wasn't careful.

Soon, all the elite ninja arrived—about fourteen people.

I looked at them.

"Who knows the Uchiha Flame Formation?"

They looked around at each other.

Only three raised their hands.

I frowned.

"I want one more person to learn it."The group instantly became restless.

Then one of them, eyes shining with excitement, spoke:

"Clan Leader… are you preparing to take action against Konoha's high-level leadership?"

A black line formed on my face.

Did these fools really think they could defeat Konoha's top command?

Half our clan was at the battlefield.

Only one Kage-level ninja remained in the clan—me.

And Konoha itself had five to seven Kage-level fighters.

Idiots, I shook my head.

"Why would I attack Konoha? The next Hokage will definitely be from our clan, and he will be elected fairly."

Their expressions turned puzzled.

"Then why did you call us here…?"

one clan member asked irritably.

Uchiha respected strength. To them, I was only slightly stronger than they were.

They clearly thought I was wasting their time.

That annoyed me.

I released my chakra.

Kage-level pressure instantly filled the room.

Everyone froze.

Their bodies trembled, and shock filled their eyes. After the civil war, the clan had no Kage-level ninja left.

But now—

their Clan Head stood before them as one.

Just then, a young clansman rushed inside.

"Clan Head! The report on the boy!"

I took the scroll and opened it.

My frown deepened.

"The boy is an orphan and unremarkable. He has no clan backing and has average performance in class. But today, he somehow fought Minato at the training field and defeated him easily."

I continued reading.

"Later on, he met Mikoto by chance. She was crying for some reason and bumped into him. After that… she was seen smiling, and that civilian boy took her hand forcefully, but she did not complain.

He took her to Hokage Rock and told her about the Will of Fire."

After reading this, I sighed to myself.

It looked like the brainwashing ability was truly powerful. Just think about it—would a girl not say anything when a boy she barely knew held her hand and dragged her all the way to a cliff? In this situation, I couldn't even blame Mikoto. Knowing she was being manipulated without realizing it made my blood boil.

So I made up my mind to kill that boy.

I told them my plan, and one clan member blinked and whispered:

"Clan Leader… all of us are here to deal with a thirteen-year-old child?"

"Yes."

Everyone:

"…"

Shock and disbelief were clearly shown on their faces.

Is our Clan Leader even sane…?

Using this lineup for a child? With this force, even a Kage-level enemy would die.

But they didn't dare say it aloud.

They simply stared at me, waiting for my next move.
