The next day, without waiting for Elmer and Grethia to wake up, Ard, Eva, and all their friends—along with Thorena and Kresus—set off on Murmic's zeppelin to a cliff jutting out over the ocean. As they stood on the sandy cliff, they all looked out at the vast horizon; however, unlike the beautiful surface seas that were bright and blue during the day, the ocean in Le Rein Infernal looked dark. The waves crashed without a sound, making it appear terrifying, and lightning like electric shocks struck the dark surface of the water.
"Wow... it's far different from the ocean on the surface... this sea is terrifying," Pyria murmured.
"I can't imagine crossing this ocean using a ship alone... ugh... I don't want to imagine it," Milia added.
"Hmm... if we cross to the continent that is said to be on the other side according to legend... it means we would be right beneath the Ateras Kingdom," Ainsley murmured while adjusting her glasses and looking toward the sea.
