Chapter 69 - Chapter 69   The Planet Sealed by the Cosmic Emperor

Chapter 69 The Planet Sealed by the Cosmic Emperor

"The situation is as follows: after dozens of generations of searching, it has been confirmed that the Great Demon is imprisoned within these lands, though we still don't know his exact location."

Based on young General Rylen's description, Red Spider seemed to grasp something incredible. It turned out that an enormous secret was hidden within this seemingly ordinary planet ... an ancient monster, known as the Great Demon, had apparently been sealed within it for some unknown reason. In other words, this planet was actually a gigantic cage.

"Are you sure this isn't some lie the Autobots made up to dominate these humans? Don't take these myths so seriously. Do you think I, Starscream, would believe them? It's already strange enough that this small planet has a few Autobot warriors and those peculiar old Decepticons. And now you're telling me the Decepticon progenitor is here too? Do you think this is Cybertron? Tell me ... why are so many powerful Transformers gathered here?"

Clearly, Mr. Starscream disagreed with General Rylen's explanation; he even thought it was made up. After all, these humans were still living in a dark age of civilization, unable to accept even the smallest extraordinary event. Who knew to what extent their ancestors had actually interacted with the Autobots?

Seeing Starscream growing agitated, the robotic Dinobot named Sludge slowly stepped forward and spoke in a calm tone.

"Mr. Starscream, I know this might be difficult to believe, but I think you'll understand once you see this video, won't you? I can also tell you that the one who sealed that giant creature was none other than our Dinobot General, Grimlock. And his disappearance is closely related to this matter. So, if possible, I hope you can join our investigation team. That would also prove that you are a true Autobot warrior. What do you say?"

Now that's how you ask for a favor! It seemed some of these Dinobots weren't so bad after all ... at least this Sludge fellow was far more reasonable than that Pteranodon one.

"Fine! Although I haven't decided whether I'll join the Autobots yet, I'll help you deal with all this, okay? As for this dungeon, do you still want it? Why don't we destroy it? It wouldn't be fun if something weird crawled out later!"

Although Starscream had already taken care of the Predacon, for some reason, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about this dungeon ... it would be best to bury it completely.

"That's right, I think this place is sinister too! After all, I was buried here for nearly a thousand years, and I hate seeing that thing again. If these little ones don't object, I'll have to trouble you, Mr. Starscream!"

Clearly, if these two Dinobots wanted to find their leader Grimlock, they had no choice but to rely on this newcomer from Cybertron.

This underground city might have been insignificant to Starscream and the other Transformers, but it still held some value for General Rylen and his men.

"My esteemed sirs, if you don't mind, I'd like my men to thoroughly search this underground city. After all, our Eclipse army has been short on pay lately. Years of war have left our treasury completely empty!"

Ah, of course. Living in such a primitive dark age, the humans of this planet relied on something called currency ... coins made of various precious metals (silver or gold) in different shapes.

Besides the Transformers sealed within, this underground city also contained a vast treasure of gold and silver. General Rylen seemed intent on reclaiming these items and distributing them among his soldiers. In a way, this human leader wasn't bad at all; at least he was far more pleasant than that previous Hun priest who constantly whipped his men.

"Mr. Starscream, what do you think? Could you give these young men a bit of time? Perhaps you could also take a look at the data I've just recovered!"

Perhaps to keep Starscream from getting bored, the mechanical Thunder Dragon named Sludge duplicated his newly recovered memory files twice ... one copy for his brother, and one for Starscream.

It was a remarkably vivid video showing hundreds of Autobots and Decepticons battling on this very planet. Many appeared to be ancient Transformers wielding archaic weapons.

It was a real war ... parts flying everywhere, strange fluids splattering in all directions ... far more intense than the usual Autobot Decepticon battles on Cybertron.

"This guy… I think I remember his name in my database. That should be The Fallen! Wasn't it said that he disappeared millions of years ago? How did he end up on your planet?"

After watching the video, Starscream's questions didn't lessen ... they multiplied. The legendary Fallen was said to be the true progenitor of the Decepticons, yet he had vanished so long ago that even Starscream himself had never seen him in person.

"According to my deduction, these progenitor-level Transformers were preparing the ground for that terrifying being we mentioned earlier ... Unicron. They probably know how he sustains his energy: by constantly devouring the planets he targets. The Fallen is Unicron's most loyal servant, tasked with finding suitable prey for his master across the universe."

Although it sounded far-fetched, the Dinobot's words were entirely accurate. The historical records of Cybertron described these two terrifying beings in just such a way.

In other words, the planet where Starscream now stood… was also one of Unicron's intended prey.
