During a communal meal, Chen Xiyao finally met Kaveh, whose name she had only heard of before.
The players observed the strange sorrow hanging between Kaveh and Alhaitham. While the two men seemed unaware of the source of their sadness, the players knew all too well.

Chu Xi gripped the Dendro Vision in one hand, using the other to steady her hood. Fine beads of sweat dotted her face as she trudged through the desert, leaving a long trail of footprints in her wake.

Yae Miko sat down beside Yuna, who immediately turned her face away, refusing to look at her.

"Little one, are you angry?" Yae Miko poked Yuna's cheek with a finger. When the girl remained unresponsive, she sighed.

"There was a major incident in Sumeru recently—a battle between Gods! Even I was worried. It's safer for you to stay on Narukami Island right now."

The giant skewer finally landed in Yuna's hands. She stood up and started walking down the mountain toward Grand Narukami Shrine.
"Little Yuna, don't forget to make my share when you cook dinner tonight!"
Munching on her skewer, Yuna mumbled through a mouthful, "I'm busy. Come get it yourself tonight."
